This is the azn dude that comes around 9pm till closing. I wanna beat your SA3 Yang dammit. When ppl say if you can get the roll off before you sneak out the SA3 to bust my timing it can help. Although I roll it don’t do jack :bluu: jk hahaha all good tho see u there man and other folks as well. I could be there a bit earlier but 9 for sure and I know you’re there till closing usually if theres peeps.
So… I’m coming to UCLA in the fall. What’s the school like (I’m in the school of engineering), what’s competition like? I glanced at the arcade when I visited, but it was at the first Saturday of UCLA’s spring break so nobody was there.
What do you guys do on the weekends?
Depending on which engineer you are (i’m chemical), I’m guessing at least half your life will be consumed by studying or doing homework. This is because the people here are pretty smart, hardworking, or both… so to get on the good side of the curve you’ll have to know your shit. Some bad things about being an engineer are the noteable lack of females in our classes (i think the ratio is 4 or 5 to 1), and the professors who are at UCLA more for research purposes than teaching students.
Dunno about majority of ppl, but if you’re single at the time and not pursuing, then the options are usually gym/sport/study/wander around LA.

I’m materials, so it’s pretty similar to chem, I guess. Do a lot of people from UCLA go to really high-power grad schools - MIT, Cal Tech, etc.?
