About xcape, last I heard was that they’re keeping it until the end of the year.
When do ppl play marvel? I went and played 3s today, ppl hella get too hype in casual
Over summer, I haven’t seen too many people playing marvel. At the most it’s just like 1-2 people, but not often. Should pick up a little bit during the year.
Haha, for 3s there’s a few people with anger issues, but the majority of the players are down.

Really? I wasn’t even going to bother posting with this account, but I guess I’ll start in that case.
I’m the skinny white kid who looks likes Harry Potter and plays 3s. I mostly play Yun and Necro now, but I also occasionally use Oro and Makoto. Feel free to hit my up on AIM if you’re looking for a game. Until fall quarter starts again, I don’t really have anything to do so I should be available. AIM name is kimjongillmatic.

Not sure if Percival (Mad Tea Party) has told any of the rest of you that know me, but I won’t be returning back to UCLA come this fall quarter due to some family problems, so I’ll be staying home in Hawaii. :sad: For those that don’t know me (my real name is Chris), I was the random asian guy that played C-groove Honda/Blanka/Chun in CvS2 and dark blue Chun and white Q in 3S…and here I was all excited to bust out what I’ve learned this summer (RC electricity/hands, charge buffering combos with Q, better hit confirms, and of course, ULTIMATE PWNAGE WITH TEH WAVE OF TEH FUTURE AKA JOOOOOEEEEE!!!11). >_< Anyway, I’ll definitely miss you guys, had some GGs the past couple of years. I’ll try to find the time to come visit within the next year or so hopefully.
Other Chris: I was hoping to play your godly N-Chun again. :xeye: Keep beasting on Johann and all the angry 3S scrubs in my absence. And also, play Joe! :tup:
Does CvS2 Mike still come around X-Cape/read this thread anymore? Or did he graduate already?
Taco Bell’s coming back, to the Cooperage (“main food court”).
Meanwhile, Cooperage Pizza closed up for no apparent reason (“for pizza, go to Sbarro’s upstairs”).
I don’t like to go out on a limb here, but the coincidence is rather staggering.
As for X-Cape, I gave up on seeking accurate end-of-life date. Now I’m just taking the same attitude I take with Debian releases: It’s done when it’s done.

Dang, Xcape is still there? I guess I’ll take up the role of resident P-Groover when R I C’s not around. I’m probably going to be playing all the games now: ghetto tricked out Dudley in 3S, whoever in GGXX, Strider Doom in MvC2, though I’ll be spending considerably less time at Xcape.
Your straight up vertical jumping Ken mixups were even more ghetto than your Dudley stuff. If you started smoking more you could also be resident pack a day smoker when I’m not around. :tup:
Well, another quarter, and X-Cape is still around.
The machines got moved around the floor, so now it’s basically puzzles on the left wall, fighters on the right wall, weird crap in the back, non-video games center floor.
That magical “fix it right before the quarter starts” thing happened again.
CvS2 is back in a large cabinet. Dunno where it came from… either they happened to have a spare cab, converted the now-missing Ranger Mission’s panel to a fighter configuration, or switched out CFJ’s internals.
GGXX’s screen no longer suffers kid-playing-with-magnet syndrome, but the colors seem a bit washed out.
“New” game for the quarter is Ghost Squad (small-screen version).
Right-hand MvC2’s large screen still suffers the streaky graphics; left-hand MvC2 is still small-screen.

Here’s a little info for those of you wondering…
We, On Campus Entertainment, are taking over the operation of the video games in X-cape as of this week. That’s why CvS2 is back in the 33" cabinet and why GGXX is looking better. We will be going through ALL the games over the next couple weeks to get everything up and running well. In fact sombody will be there today to look at MvC2. I know the games were not kept in very good shape before, but now that we are taking over you can expect better working games.
If you have any specific complaints, requests or problems to report feel free to email us at games@ocearcades.com . Make sure to mention what school you are writing about and try to be as specific as possible.
