Thanks to whoever fixed the cabinets.
I’m looking for some Cvs2, HF, ST comp. Everytime I go there everyone sucks in these games. Is there anyone that can beat me? Sheesh, what a disappointment, paying parking, and then just dominating. Is anyone good at these games, sheesh, fucking scrubs.
If someone can get the machines set to “Event Mode”, Ernest (not to speak for you or anything) or anyone from Southtown would be glad to run the brackets (assuming Shaolin or a R.U.N. member isn’t doing so already).
When do you show? People usually play during the day in between classes…no one really plays after 6. During the day though, I can assure you there are some pretty crazy people for all three games.

So have we decided on a date yet? I would REALLY prefer Thursday, given how shitty of a day I had today (8-4 class straight with no food or breaks in between makes one really mad)

i got assignments due on w,th,f , but i guess if it had to be a weekday, thurs might be the best.
have u considered that weekday tourneys would inconvience a lot of outside competition? it for sure makes it to where out of towners cant come…

haha, that was me. looks like nobody is signing them though, which makes sense since everybody is busy with classes. i guess the best we can do is just pick a day and hope for good turnouts. right now i’m waiting for shaolin/daryl to answer my pm so i can get you info if you want to run marvel.

let me know when you guys would like to start hosting them and I’ll make the effort to run the arcade tourneys including brackets.

I can’t guarantee I could make it on Tuesdays… but so long as someone has these things up and running again, it would be good.
For tourneys that I can make, I can run brackets and whatever (I run them at Fresno Nickel Arcade… see APEX pac north), and I put in a request to get my admin extended to Xcape for an APEX account.

well you can run the tourneys without me-
but with my help you get extended hours - meaning finishing tourneys regardless of closing times. Also I can help to fix any problems with the cabinets as they occur. Tuesday nights are best for the arcade management.

ggs in cvs2. i suck with sagat, all you have to do is wait it out a little and i’ll do stupid stuff. actually you could say that about everyone i use… oh well. time to get halfway decent.

Sure. Chris, wanna make flyers for this? So I guess it’ll be CvS2 and SF3 bi-weekly, with MvC2 and GGXX the following week, just like last time.

I’ll put up some flyers for marvel and ggx2 this week also. I know there are players for these two games that lurk campus. I’m thinking maybe… just maybe… turnout can be upped. I didn’t put any for cvs2/3s since they would only be up for the 3-day weekend when nobody would see them, i’m just going to put two up on the machines tomorrow morning before i have class.
