Other than that…Ken left…he’ll be back around May. Mostly scrubs play CvS2 now…GGXX isn’t bad.
We should also restart the tournies. I’m getting quite bored. I also get the feeling that Nakano hates my guts :lol: Today, I purposely ate his custom combo so I could chip him to death with c.strong XX Chun-li’s lvl 3 kick super (haha, no alpha counter meter!). Damn…was he mad :lol:
I second cablehviper and ernest on the tournies. We gotta get that shit started again. Hey ernest, maybe you can start one if sin doesn’t start them up.
I would consider running them…but my schedule is somewhat tight. Wednesday is definitely not a good day…I have class from 10 to 5 straight.
I’d like to run tourneys on saturdays. Whoever was in charge of APEX for Xcape before, please give me your APEX account name and pass if I run Marvel’s at UCLA.
Btw, both Marvel cabinets are broken. The machine on the left has up, up left, and up right screwed up on one player side. The one on the right has a broken FK button on the two player side.

Saturdays are definitely not a good time for me. Thursday night would my ideal for me.
I’d love to see UCLA back in action. Maybe CvS2 and GGXX tourneys would be best since not many attended the Biweekly Marvel tournaments.
Either wednesdays or thursdays are good for me. I don’t know about saturday, that overall seems like a bad day. For all games, I think we gotta advertise this stuff a little more at the arcade. A lot of players at xcape don’t check srk and don’t know about these tournaments. Granted, they may not be in the “tourney scene”, there are probably a couple of players for each game that might show up to check it out.
CableHViper, you know the marvel players at xcape better than me, do you think a lot of those peeps are down for tournies? Cause i know a lot of the players outside xcape won’t go to the marvel tournies unless it’s a big regional type thing.

Most of the ppl that I play at xcape tend to be students like me that are just passing time between classes. I’m not sure how many ppl would want to play in a tournament.
The only person I’ve played that doesn’t go to UCLA that i know plays in tourneys is soo 
… I’m sure he wouldn’t mind some free money. And if ppl knew soo was comin, more would show up I’m sure… (like the family fun ppl)
I’ll make flyers if you guys want, we just gotta decide what day and who is running them. I’m down for any day of the week except friday, saturday, or sunday.

If daryl goes back on this thread, I need to know if he’s the only one who can set the machines to vs. mode or if we can get another employee to do that.
Someone please get the machines fixed. The girls that work there are just friends of some girls I know, and they can’t fix it.
