(Damn it. I meant to bump this before it possibly came on for the East Coast. Sorry about that.)

Anyway, the first episode premieres tonight. Apparently it’s at 7:00 P.M., at least for those of us on the West Coast and PST. Not when it is for the rest of you guys (and gals).

Finished tonight’s episode, if I were Scully I wouldn’t have believed them dudes either. They sounded like they was on that stuff.

Surprised dude had her the limo sippin on champagne so quick. Mulder with the timely cockblock.

Surprised Smoking Man is still alive. LOL at that dude smoking through a hole in his throat…

New xfiles was okay. The fucking jargon was overwhelming. It was trying so hard to get new people caught up on decades of conspiracy theories.

What i found silly though

Was now the conspiracy is that this has all been a government coverup, and that humans are involved in all of this, not aliens. BUT WAIT, we already knew this from before. LOL. We know that we got the tech and shit from aliens, sometimes in exchange for other humans, and that our government and other powers that be were involved in this conspiracy to prepare humans to defend the alien colonization.

UMMMMM, did we all just forget those fucking super soldier aliens from the last season or 2, that could fucking regenerate themselves even after being crushed by a dumpster. lol

I think the new xfiles is fun, but a failure. Im not even nitpicking some of the dialogue and general stupidity this episode offered. It was nice to see, and im going to watch episode 2 tomorrow, but i wouldnt greenlight this show unless they plan on rebooting it completely.

I’ve only just started season7 of the original series lol, probably won’t be able to watch the new series for awhile =/

(Bumpity bumpity.)

Tonight’s episode, “Mulder & Scully Meet the Were-Monster”, has been one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a while.

Spoiler

The fact that, if “Guy Mann” is to be believed, the whole thing was apparently a reverse-werewolf situation was the funniest part of all.

Mulder having an existential crisis during all of this makes it even funnier. At the same time, it’s somewhat of hard swerve from the whole eye-exploding that ended the last episode, “Founder’s Mutation”. I wonder if the rest of the mini-series will be this disconnected. It might necessarily be a bad thing, even if it’s a bit jarring.

Very disappointing new episode. Can we get to the serious stuff?

Of course the damned liked this terrible episode. Fucking retard. lol

I hate how theyre kinda just pretending the previous 9 seasons didnt exist. Where a teenager could manipulate reality with his mind, and turned his house into the brady bunch. Where scully was abducted, and they had seen huge ufo with their own eyes. Where super soldiers were hunting down scully for her child.

Theyre obnoxiously skeptical this season, with the underlying plot that the government is behind all of this, not aliens, when we knew that before. The government was behind alot of the shit in preparation for the colonization by the aliens, and trying to prevent that.

This episode was definitely way off than previous fun episodes, like when that shapeshifter turned into mulder, and was trying to get it in with scully. This episode had potential, but fell off.

LOL at mulder being a super skeptic at the start of the episode. So stupid. MULDER, YOU AND SCULLY HAVE BEEN ATTACKED BY EVERYTHING FROM VAMPIRES, TO UNKNOWN SPECIES, TO FUCKING SUPER SOLDIERS WHO CAN REGENERATE AFTER FALLING INTO A TRASH COMPACTOR.

This was just one of those meta “we’re aware of how we do things” ep. It was cute I guess, I just took it for what it was and enjoyed the stream of consciousness flow of the plot.

There were a ton of Easter Eggs this episode BTW, the main one being the gravestones of directors Kim Manners and Jack Hardy:

Great episode. Shit was violent as fuck. Now thats a classic xfiles episode. Even down to the two stories going on at once. So you dont get their full attention into the paranormal shit thats happening, but thats okay. Theyve done similar episodes before.

Either way, great fucking episode.

(Re: last week: Well, sue me for liking meta-humor then. I never said the episode wasn’t flawed, just that I enjoyed it.)

As for this week, I’ll agree that it was overall better and I’d imagine therefore far less divisive, not that I know or care about how people reacted to the last one (or any of them, really). I still enjoyed last week’s episode purely silliness on a personal level just because them being skeptical since this new mini-series started has been really weird and it was amusing to see Mulder go through what was essentially a mild-life crisis.

Anyway, it looks like the girl–now woman–who played Claire from Six Feet Under is showing up next week as part of the younger mirror duo. That might be interesting given I haven’t seen her in anything else since that show went off.

Shows done

3/10 for all 6 episodes. Shit was horrible as fuck, and einstein is beyond the worst. Id rather get trampled by bulls than deal with einstein anymore.

Besides the horrible writing and shitty new character (einstein), what i disliked the most about these 6 episodes is how all the crazy shit theyve been through was kinda casually tossed out the window. Dealing with a child who could read minds, a boy who could warp reality, a man who could see through walls, superhuman humanoids with regenerative powers, a serial killer with telepathy, various alien abductions, ect…

Then we get this season, and scully and mulder are finding it hard to believe in aliens again, or the supernatural in general. Theyre both annoyingly skeptic, even though they spent a decade together being drowned by shit no one would believe is real. Then on top of that, they throw in the new version of skully, who isnt just skeptical as scully once was, she is obnoxiously skeptical to the point you wonder how this socially retarded woman even functions in society in general.

This 6 episode comeback will be forgotten by non retard fans, and those who legit watched the original series over, and over, and over like i have. This shit was far from acceptable, and the logic in the last episode was so stupid.

Was skully really suppose to save the whole world with her vaccine she chopped together in a couple hours? At the very least, 90 percent of everyone suffering from that virus is going to die. You logistically just cant get that vaccine around fast enough to save the world.

Oh, and i love the last line. “Mulder needs stem cells”. LOL WUT!!!
