Tekken 4
SSB: Brawl
that Power Rangers game with Ivan Ooze.
I like your style.
I’ve always thought that JoJo’s was a pretty balanced fighter outside of the bird of course.
JoJo is the only game I can think of with both a banned and a god tier.
Petshop is completely ridiculous and stomp over the whole cast, but Kakyoin is also totally retarded and also has an advantage on pretty much the whole cast, just petshop has 9.5 - 0.5 matchups because some characters actually have no way to hit him if he flies to the top corner.
Why do people still call it Arcana Hearts
Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom (UAS btw.) is the most balanced game I’ve ever played, and Vampire Savior is right behind it.
You don’t know shit about Jojo’s. Petshop isn’t a win button character there is options to deal with his shit. as for Kakyoin learn how to negate his webs and remember where they all are.
Alpha 2 gold. Custom combos (with blowout ability) made it a game where even Dan could fuck you up.
Oh yeah man, as long as you play completely flawlessly Ivan Ooze is no problem either, clearly all games are totally balanced.
There are ways to deal with petshop, But not if you play Khan, Devo, or either Josephs.
And yeah, kakyion’s four 4:6 compared to his one even matchup versus positive on the entire rest of the cast is totally not a problem, assuming you play completely flawlessly.

lol i play iggy and y.joesph and match ups don’t mean shit. you have to have more meat to make a valid point then just an old match up chart.
While I wouldn’t say matchups ‘don’t mean shit’ (not true of pretty much any game), you’re pretty much wrong based on the evidence.
If you watch a lot of Japanese tourney footage you’ll see that Kakyoin winning tournaments is rare, and Petshop is often not banned (I’ve heard he was only ever really softbanned, but I’m no authority on that).
The game does have some dead weight at the bottom of the tier list (chars that are QUITE low tier) but there are a lot of viable characters remaining. You probably see more variety in the actual winners of tournaments as far as character variety than in 3S (and I don’t mean to disparage third stirke, either).
Ultimate MK 3
I still agree with Maj. 10 still comes down to over a dozen possible matchups. The only time someone should be banned is if they’re head over heels over the rest of the cast (as was the case with ST Akuma and CvS Nako).
I gotta agree with this, Alpha 2 Gold is pretty balanced. Custom Combo damage got nerfed quite a bit, particularly for Chun Li.
A2 Dan could blow you up anyways, you obviously never watched some good japanese dan matches. he also has 60% cc combos =P
anyway my choises are
SFA2
Vampire Saviour
GGXXAC
Tekken 6
MSHvsSF
UMK3
SSF4
there is a HUGE difference between a2 gold and regular a2. a2 gold is the patch to regular a2. Alpha counters cost 1.5, activating CC takes 1.5 bars and they removed blowout which made the game balanced.
Kind of weird when you look at it. A2 regular was more balanced because it was broken and the tweak version in a2 gold removed the broke stuff making it unbalanced.
Plasma Sword/Star Gladiators 2 - Only two characters that I know give the most problems are Byakko and Claire but it’s not as if they are unbeatable.
Garou Mark of the Wolves is probably the most balanced game I’ve played.
Fatal Fury 2 The Newcomers is another good one. Only overpowered character is Rick. Everyone else are pretty much on the same field with the exception of the short fat guy whose name I’m drawing a blank on right now.
I don’t know if people are joking when they say KOF98 cause as much as I love that game, every high level player always has either Iori and Daimon on their teams and those two are known as been too damn good. If you want the most balanced version of KOF98, then you would have to play the recently released KOF98UM Final Edition.
Project Justice : IF you can get past Roberto, then everything is pretty good.
CHEERS!
@Cibernetico - You mean Cheng Sinzan? He’s actually very beastly… if you know how to use him. One of my buddies used to troll the shit out of me with him, completely shut down my Kim lol.
I actually think Rick is kinda overrated though, but then I’ve fought so many Ricks, dealing with them is kinda natural to me now. On the other hand, I think Geese is far more overpowered.
1.Garou Mark of the wolves. The game system is well rounded, and not complicated . Some match ups can be daunting for low tiers dealing with God tiers. Thankfully theirs only one.
2.GGAC is simply great with match up and mechanics but their a strong learning curve with the game systems.
-
AH3 has plethoral of match ups with some that can be heavy lopsided but these are still rare to come across and arcana can help cope with some.
-
Battle Fantasia. I know I may be highly flamed for this, but as much I do enjoy 3s,
Arc system works improves on the Capcom 3srtik formula. Gatchi improves the parry system while still adding more on to it (gatchi drive and G-counter). 3s super art system limits player on their arsenal which I personally think hurts match up, Battle fantasia doesn’t. Technically their no ex command set in BF how ever their is a Heat Up system that modify certain properties from extended juggle properties, command cancel extended, and individual unique properties for each character. (Asim properties, modify commands, extra commands) Finally character match up are pretty balance with only one character(Olivia) really have bad match up but simply because her tools are lack luster ,she can still use the game system like every one else but she has little to nothing add to it. Outside of her heat up, she relies on fundamentals more than anything else.
5.A2/A2Gold Keep most of ST aspect while adding few things that doesn’t drastically change the street fighter formula but allows more creativity. Match up balance is not great but compare to few others, theirs tough but not overwhelming match ups.
I would like to throw in VF5, Bloody roar 2, Shin series, and world Heroes Perfect. But I have more experience with the ones I choose
Guys get of axl master’s back. Just because top Japanese AH3 players may be sticking to less legit arcana choices, doesn’t mean a guy playing the terrible home port of the previous game hasn’t developed better strategies.
Is Tekken 6 really that balanced? At EVO finals last year all i saw was Laws (and maybe Lars?)…i mean i know the guy that took 1st wasn’t a Law but i remember that fool more than any other person.
No troll, i dont play the game but its just what i seen so i am curious to why people say T6 is balanced.
On that note, Alpha 2 is hella balanced. Its not even across the board but with everyone having Customs that can do batshit insane damage, you might as well say it is.
