The TMNT Tournament Fighters (SNES) Thread: TF Revelations

Chrome is good as hell.

That fucking dive kick is really good for rushdown and he has electric SPD for tick throw traps.

I think he is too good for mid tier but not better then Mike or Shredder.

So by those means itā€™s be
S+Raph
S: Armagon
A: Mikey, Shredder, Chrome Dome
B: Wingnut, Leonardo, Donatello
C: Aska

Or something along those lines?

What do you know? Right in the middle.

Move Wingnut up imo.

Also when I heard the word middle I identified with the word mid tier. Sorry for the confusion.

gdlk: Rat King, Karai
SSS: Raph
SS: Armagon
S Wingnut, Shredder
A: Chrome Dome, Mikey,
B: Leonardo, Donatello
C: Aska, War

I donā€™t count the bosses.
And I totally forgot about War.

I agree with that tier list though.

this games is pure brokeness but fun as hell. iā€™m dlā€™ing it asap.

Damn, dudes are hungry for some TF right now it seems. I guess I should throw TF back on my HD then. If anyone would like some netplay games hit me up via PM or something. Iā€™m on EST US so be warned.

wow a lot of hate on war. :frowning:

IMA learn War and see how bad he is.

haha I have this on SNES! I loved this game more than SFII. Crazy shark guy and Michealngeloā€™s ridiculous chip damage block chains XD

I never understood the super attacks though, they usually had nothing to do with the charactersā€¦raph shooting fireballs?

I thought wingnutā€™s D+HP was an infiniteā€¦once you hit with it once you can repeatedly tap up and do it again super fast, hitstun is too slow to keep up. This is what I rememebr from a long time ago i thinkā€¦

Thanks we alredy have a couple people playing this game is so similar to ST its mad kool. Iā€™ll try to get some video footage, it wont be as good as team spooky but we aint scrubs, so were not gonna dissapoint:rofl:

i dint know wich settings were used for tourneyā€™s so thanks weā€™ll start playing with 90 secs and high speed 1

so no oneā€™s throwing down on netplay? Iā€™d like to see how effective SNES9X is. Itā€™s a pretty user friendly application btw. Post if youā€™d like give a test run or something.

EDIT: my bad, 9X netplay is done. ZSNES (1.36) seems to be the recommendation for netplay.

@Gonzales
The mutagen is spreading! Really excited to hear the great news. Canā€™t wait to see some vids from you guys. Vivaaaa!

I want to try and set up locals too. The only problem is if people here are willing to fork out money for a pad to play this or a stick. Either way, IMA try to learn War, and hopefully use him in tournaments. And I dun main him either.

I fail whenever I try to play online. I just canā€™t get it to work. Iā€™ve seen tutorials and everything but I still fail. Iā€™ve failed with CGA also.

ZSNES 1.42 served me very well when we played Ossu! Karetbu online versus EmblemLord. I just had to switch off ā€œuse tcpā€ and use a specific port, because Iā€™m on a special connection that has some restrictions in ports.
Couldnā€™t get Snes9x to work. But Snes9k has kaillera, you can try that too.

Hey, wanna give it a go? I grabbed 1.36 and 1.42 (thanks, Yin). Maybe we can do a few test runs. Iā€™ve been practicing War recently and Iā€™d like to see how he fares in an actual matchup. Let me know if youā€™re down for a few games/tests.

Yeah, usually toggling tcp/udp produces results. You got anymore info on that kaillera use for the 9x. Iā€™d like to give this a shot as well if all else fails.

Iā€™m really in the mood to start playing this game again and analyzing match ups more.

Please do man!

Wowā€¦ Iā€™m new here, and I never wouldā€™ve imagined thereā€™d be a thread about one of my favorite games ever.

I have the same problem as you.

Donā€™t know much more about it, just tried once and as usual I couldnā€™t get into half of the servers of kaillera. And when we found one both could enter, there was too much lag.
