Dunno if this has been mentioned, but did you guys know that almost every character in the Genesis TF has a a throw infinite a.k.a if you get swept off your feet just once in the show it’s over??? The TMNT and Jones notably have this: during the time in which an opponent falls to the floor and gets up you quickly walk over to them and throw them, then you walk over again to the opposite side and do it as they are getting up again, rinse repeat. It was the only way I was able to beat that game on the highest difficulty. Karai had my number for YEARS with her 50% damage throws.
No one plays the genesis one because it’s pure shit.

So far it seems like I’m just gonna sweep the whole thing like I did Hyper Street Fighter 2 last month, so it would be nice for there to be some actual competition. Signups end on the 28th, so if you are interested hurry up.

LOL yeah, jeron was running the same shit when he forced me to watch him play that garbage using April O’neil. so it seems the perfect throw applies to all chars…thats good to know. yet another reason to not play the genesis version :wasted: .

Anyway just to give you a synapsis I played this game hardcore with Sanford when it first came out 12 or 13 years ago. First off character sprites are horrible. All the Turtles got big ass heads and look like Mutant Frogs! Music is terrible!
Throws are extremely etremely broken thus implimenting any and all startegies down to kocking someone down. April O’Neil is the perfect example of this. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it another thousand times. April is the most broken PLAYABLE character of all time!!! Her dash elbow is 100% safe and has -1 frame recovery so you know what that is? Shes so fast that she can repeatedly do it and if you block you die! She can literally chip you to death and theres no escape! and of course if you try to take the hit you get kocked down and then…RAP! Infinite grabs. sighs
The other characters like Casey Jones, Ray Fillet, Sysiphus are cool but the programming of theyre moves are really bad. On max difficulty the computer is insanley bullshit. They will literally just sit there and turtle until you walk up to them, bait you into doing something, kock you down, turtle some more…
I’ve never seen an AI like I have with TF, its 5x worse than ST’s AI. Kari walks up to you and throws you thats game beacuse it takes 45% and she’ll do it 2 more times to kill you!:annoy: Lets not talk about her **SPEAR ** attack which instant dizzies and takes 50%…:wasted:
Oh god what else…I do like the extra characters, Tyranasaur (From the comics) Krang (My personal favorite villan) and Karai (also from the comics) you would think yeah these are some cool as characters let me beat survival mode and unlock them…
Well then you have to win 99 fights without losing at all beacuse you get no continues and it runs off survival rules so you get a little replenished life after every fight. Roughly you have to beat the game 9 times to complete it. So 2/12 to 3 hours later you went through the hell, frustration and agony of having to do all this you would think yeah I can get all the characters and something cool for doing all this! What do you get…

Today I showed everyone at work Wingnut’s 100% UAM…they were floored. They thought I had used some kinda cheat. 
A co-worker was also super pissed that the first UAM he worked up, was Aska’s, and I just turtle-flipped through it.

EDIT: I found my own answer to my stupid question.
Double EDIT: I would just like to inform the TF scene that we just had our premiere Fight Night featuring TF, and it stole the spotlight. As soon as we popped the game into the SNES, everyone stopped what they were doing/playing (We have 3 other TVs with miscellaneous fighters) and crowded around the small TV to watch. After just a few matches from myself and a friend, people were waiting in line to play. It was incredible - people were waiting to play TF rather than 3s, A3, ST and SC3. Here is hope to an equally great Fight Night next week with more TF destruction.
