Never watched the original Thundercats but I’ve been hearing good things about this one. Caught the last ten mins of an episode a few weeks back and liked what I saw. I just may start watching this show regularly.

I like this show better when it’s more about the characters (the initial two-parter, the Tygra’s clan episode, Kit and Kat’s backstory) than the drab plot.
Lion-o is just a (cat) hair’s breadth away from being this totally awesome leader-type, but too much hero-worship from the show’s writers (and some of his friends, though not all) is ruining it. I actually really liked him in the pilot, the episode right after where he was obsessed with his mission, and the Tygra episode where he was trying to find out what the tigers were hiding. I also thought he had a point about disliking how Cheetara led him on.
I don’t hate him otherwise, but he’s dull.
This show is compelling enough to continue watching, but I feel like its moments of awesomeness should be the norm, not the exception.
I do like this series a lot but I think it will never be able to catch on as a"mainstream"show largely due to a very unlikable cast. Lion-O as the lead character is heavily flawed to the point that he almost comes off as a cautionary tale of"how not to lead". Add the very disrespectful and pure asshole supporting case and your left with a crew of characters you dont support nor care about. Does anyone honestly want good things for anyone in this case, tygra is quite possibly the worst brother of all time with his constant jealous streak against lion-o…and its kind of hard to avoid calling cheetara a big slut for cock teasing lion-o for a whole season lol.
Funny that the 80s Lion-o had the mind of a kid, but acted a lot more mature than this version. I’m hoping something big happens at the end of this season that flips his shit attitude around.
This lion-o is kind of dangerous in the sense that he doesnt think things out and kind of has a "fuck them"attitude towards his crew…then again they are assholes themselves so I can’t blame him lol.
if he has that “fuck them” attitude then why is he all about saving that new pussy :wonder: i mean if she’s not kickin his ass, he’s stopping her from kicking other ass, otherwise she’s flirting with him or getting rescued… and i thought Cheetara was the tease.

Latest episode was silly and dumb. GOOD silly and FUN dumb. Especially how Mumm-Ra was handed an inglorious defeat the likes of which he really shouldn’t have laughed about, the likes of which rivals Squirrel Girl beating Dr. Doom. 
I really really really got excited thinking they would play a full version. I bet a full version of that exists.

One thing I do like about this modern Thundercats series are the lady cats. Cheetara and Pumyra both look exceptional. Hell even the Blue Feline female that was with Mum-Ra during that flashback episode was hot. I just feel bad for Panthro, everyone has a potential mate while he jacks off with Metal Hands (No MF Doom.)
Can’t find episode 24 on even itunes or amazon. Anywhere I can watch it? And yes I’ve tried the other ways too.
