Looking forward to this week upcoming. Meantime, we’re having some friends and in-laws over tomorrow night. Surgery, follow-ups, and present hunting behind me, I’m ready for movies, music, and a lot of booze and candy.
I still havent done jack shit for christmas shopping lol. I’ll probably just get my nephew a steam card, and then I dont know what the fuck to get my mom yet.
I havent asked for anything for christmas since I discovered the value of money a few years ago. If you want to get me something that’s cool. I dont really care what it is. Otherwise I dont really care

So bought my dad/brother a car kit. You know for something they might need if they took care of their stuff. Now gettting flak from my mom that i should have gotten them something like pants or my brother some UFC stuff. Really? If my brother didn’t need anymore duc tape on his already broken front mirror i would have bought him a gift card to Menards. SMDH. Ohh here is a Ronda Rousey shirt by the way your car needs a jump since you left the damn lights on AGAIN!!! Any who pretty much need to square away my sister and i’m done son!

Honestly, looking back on the holiday seasons, the trips to the stores with my wife are among my favorite memories. To be openly sappy, I attribute my love of the season to her.
All right, I’m done! Just the wrapping now. Which isn’t going to happen tonight. Man, tomorrow is Christmas Eve. I’d say it snuck up on me, but that’s clearly not the case.

Here in the Philippines, it’s been Christmas for about an hour now. It’s tradition here to eat a special dinner at midnight on Christmas Eve. We call it “Noche Buena”, which is Spanish for “good night”.
Lechon (whole roasted pork) is very popular during Noche Buena, as well as hamon (Christmas ham), pancit (a kind of dry Chinese noodles), and lumpia (spring rolls).
Other people are having Christmas before America???

Nah that pic’s from Google. I didn’t actually take a picture of our Noche Buena, but we had ham, spaghetti (also very popular in Filipino parties), pancit, and bbq ribs. Looked very similar to that in the pic, actually.
