I feel like Christmas came early for me. Won a 50’ tv at my company Christmas party last night. Can’t really say there is much i want for Christmas outside of egg nog. Kinda wish i owned a home so i could put up a ridiculous amount of lights, but i think i’ll catch the light show at Cal Expo to make up for it. Still debating on whether to get my gf a ninja blender set or watch for Christmas.
In Kerala (south India),christmas trees are relatively new, but a lot of homes hang a “Christmas Star” , a large foil/paper decoration.
My dad had one as a kid.
When my mom went to India recently, she brought back one for me.

We got our tree up a couple nights ago. Hopefully it stays that way since we recently stopped crating our dog when we’re gone, lol. So far so good.
I’ve already bought all my gifts for other people except for some online communities that are doing secret santa. I’ve got about $250 left to spend on myself and I’m trying to decide which PS4 arcade stick I want for SFV. I could go the cheap route and just get what I need for my old FightStick Pro to work on PS4, but I kinda want something new. I was eyeing the Chun TE2 but I’d definitely have to change those yellow buttons and probably the artwork, too. Then I hear the top panels on those are kinda janky and I’d probably have to mod that, too. Right now I’m torn between that and the new TES+.

I don’t really get into Xmas anymore due to reasons no one really cares about lol.
I generally buy my brother in-law and sister one big gift joint gift and 1-2 small individual gifts. Same with my parents.
This year I got my brother in-law and sister tickets to “The Book of Mormon” I don’t know what small things I’m going to get them. 
As for my parents I never have any clue wtf to get them because they don’t really do anything
The family is doing a new thing this year. I’m excited for it, it’s a secret santa type thing, $100 limit. I’m happy with it because I wanted to quit being spoiled and my brother and sisters are still in school so it works out. I pulled my mom. I got her a set of disc golf discs because the park near their house put in a course and both mom and dad mentioned wanting to play on multiple occasions and it’s cheap enough to plug in to a bundle. She also asked for cheese related utensils since she has been going HAM at the local deli for the last 3 months.
I haven’t put a list out of what I want yet… thinking I may go books about baseball or cooking and kitchen stuff, but idk what that would be. Crock pot, chef knife + sharpener… idk.
I’m regifting my birthday present from my uncle for the extended family ‘yankee swap’ (it is a breakfast sandwich maker and I know how to fry an egg, melt cheese and toast a bagel my goddamned self)

Lately, life has really been testing my Christmas spirit. Well, not life so much as surgery and work. I won’t let it fuck up my season, though.
I am so behind with shopping. I have to get one more present for my sibling and I haven’t done any shopping for my wife or parents. Halp.
I also need to come up with a list of wants for me.
Most of my shopping for my wife is done, woot! I asked my folks for wish lists. My dad sends me a list with two items totaling $26. Like, pops if you want Amazon gift cards just ask.
Chipmunks, George Michael and Mariah Carey can all go fuck themselves.
I messed up and bought everything on the wish list my wife made for my family. I emailed them asking if they’d be willing to buy the stuff they want to give her from it from me so I can proceed to buy stuff on the list that was intended for me.
I got really stressed out about this. I have to run the list by my mother in law to see if there’s anything I ought not buy, too. It’s been a trying season, with the holiday fast approaching. But a week from today, we’re hosting a party and I have every confidence it’s going to be a great Christmas.
I’m trying, damn it all.
Parents agreed to buy the stuff from me, and my in-law got a couple things off the correct list! So she’ll get everything she wanted from the correct people.

Trying to MGS VR Missions these christmas lists this year. It’s like trying to pull teeth getting any remote information about what they want this year. I get paid tomorrow, and i still need half my list done @_@
Going to do some Christmas shopping this weekend so that’s my Star Wars trench run right there. Sadly dad lost his job last week so Christmas will be kinda tight from the folks and i hope i can help them out. Sending out my SS stuff this week so i hope they like what i picked out.
