No you are right a lot of complaining is universal. I think for me the big thing about KOF is that it “corrects” a lot of the things players were going on about in SF4. Mashing during block strings, brain dead wake up, higher level of exec for combos that matter, the ridiculous amounts of block stun, how its turned into OS fighter 4 at higher levels, a big gap in the tiers. Even today I hear people complain about these things but not play KOF and its just crazy to me. But as you said before people will play what they want to.

- 2/3 rounds, 2/3 matches, FT5 wins
- Loser can change his character, winner cannot
- All characters usable
- Loser must take the shirt off of his back and hand it to the winner at the time that the entire match concludes. No bitching, no moaning, no salt, nothing.
- Both players must be wearing an undershirt under their actual shirt they are playing for. Not trying to get a look at any man tits, and I’m sure nobody else there will be either.
- The terms of this are non negotiable. Attempting to change the rules, not showing up, refusing to play, or pulling any underhanded or dirty shit behind the scenes counts as a forfeit and will cause the removal of your shirt from your back.
- Either player may forfeit at any time during the match, but must hand over their shoes in addition to the shirt.

I know I’m late but,
Sev: Man I feel you and you know you my homie. I mentioned Triforce because for whatever reason, he’s a leader in the community and people look to him for advice and guidance. You know how players are now-a-days when it comes to listening to others when it comes to games and rather or not they should play them or not. We are seeing that happen here in this scene as we speak. So I said that to say, people are heavly influenced by what others say/think, and seeing the “top” players or community leaders be like “KOF meh” could signify a short life for the game. You know I like KOF, we have had this talk many times. The game is very very dope! Its beautiful, the system is great, and is very well balanced compared to other games, but I don’t see MLG picking it up again and I don’t see it at EVO next year.
So that leaves this scene here playing a game that, nationally no one cares about. And come next year if I decide to travel to Final Round for example (which I do) and KOF isn’t there, my playing is in vain unless I play locally. In order to be just somewhat decent in KOF, time has to be invested, and I don’t mind investing time, but when I won’t get any competition if I travel elsewhere, what is the point?
This is all is theory of course and I could be wrong (and I hope I am) and KOF has a nice, long life. I just don’t see it happening.
Anyways, hope this makes since. We can talk more about it over AIM or something.

If you want to be technical about it, we need to run the rules of the very first post you agreed to, which would be Street Fighter 4 Vanilla, it’s been that long. We can always do that if you enjoy corner lariat spam as much as I do, your call. But I gave you chances to choose the game, choose the rules, choose your choices, and you did none of it mate. So as I said the first time, you not getting back to me defaults it. Sorry.
