I haven’t started the single player campaign yet since I’m still beating 2 one final time to transfer over… But the combat is so good in 3, I’m loving multiplayer. It is a little… thin I guess you could say, there’s not a lot to it. But it’s addictive when you start leveling up and getting the recruit packs and stuff, and if you have friends who are good, damn it’s fun to just have everyone raping everything.
I’m definitely expecting multiplayer expansions sometime though. Hopefully more game modes and maps. Maybe even new characters would be nice.

I thought my entire time away would be spent in Bummertown due to my concert being canceled, but I ended up spending it with good friends, kicked it, and wasn’t sober the entire weekend (interpret that however you want). WHO ALL FROM MEMPHIS IS COMING TO NASHVILLE SATURDAY? I was planning on going to Bama for their tournament since there is no KoF here but I saw rumblings of it maybe being added? Memphis gets priority since they are further away so if they come into town I want to be here with those guys. I do still want to support some Bama events since those guys come up and show us love all the time though, so just keep a nigga posted.

Cody also told me that Natsu got nerfed too. Shurikens dont groundstun anymore so you dont have to get molested by default if you lay there for a sec as a guess for the bomb mixup shit. Yay! Idk how to feel on Hilde’s changes yet. I’ll have to play. But looks like they toned down her overall damage just to allow her to get follow-ups after certain shit. Can’t really complain about that. Indifferent to it really. As long as they didn’t touch " White People!" (super) Cuz Namco always does shit like that. Take an underused mid-tier character and nerf properties of the good move(s) they have so that if they had potential to ever be really strong, that alleviated it. Then the touch a top tier chara, tone down a move that no one uses by like 4 dmg or something. Ivy is a tad better. More damage and actually makes using EX in combos worth it since the dmg buff. Also made her less linear on supposed horizontal and tracking moves. Says they fixed grab super because I knew it was something shitty about hers. Like you can evade Astaroths pretty easily if you’re not doing anything but hers it seems like people duck AFTER her arm extends and it was just impossible to connect.
Fun fact - Astaroth’s Critical Edge was twice as bad as hers. I dubbed it the “Astaroth shuffle,” because his feet glow white and he dances around before extending his arm. They fixed both of them though, so it should be viable now.
Natsu nerfs were great. APat kept his 70 damage twister punishes though… :wtf:

As someone who has easily put over 100 + hours into the series, I can say that it’s not just a fad, the complaints are legit. The game is a great experience but anyone who was satisfied with the conclusion of the trilogy did not really immerse themselves into the game or just didn’t get it (normally I don’t generalize like that but in this case an exception can be made). I can’t say more without spoiling the whole series.

Up Your Arsenal was my shit!! I only played it online a few times because only one of my friends had the fat thing on the back of his PS2. But we got together and played that shit local mp like Goldeneye. UYA mp > Deadlocked mp and DL was built for mp.
But yea, even besides epic mp in UYA, R&C series needed an HD collection. R&C1, GC, and UYA are the best in the series. Future saga was only ok. I played and beat all of them though besides the last game All 4 One and A Crack in Time. Can’t bring myself to finish ACiT for some reason. I’ll get A4O when price drops but I bet no one will be online then. Oh, and Secret Agent Clank. I never wanted to play that one.
