Quick question. Is the only way of practicing against some of you guys in the memphis area by going to T&G and online?

2-D: People will also host weekend gatherings for games and I can play some times during the day if your anywhere near the Southaven area.
Edit: Dream do you have any extra TVs there by any chance? I would prefer not to have to bring a tv if I dont have to.
People use to host on weekends in Memphis ,but its a long forgotten tradition minus Sev that dude does host every now n then props!

Kind of a shame if you think about it. I’ll even take the days when everyone would crowd the arcade at Wolfchase Mall just to play Marvel 2 & SVC Chaos (God that game sucked)
Who is this? What area do you stay?
Severin: We have 2 setups we are going to be using for tournaments because I don’t expect a TON of players, and 3 other setups besides those with possibly a 4th (only say possibly because it depends on how many people we have.
Basically 2 setups at all times will be used for tournaments and 3 for casuals…we have Tekken 6 for PS3 if anyone wants to play that, SC5, UMVC3 for 360, etc…
Next week’s tournament is in another location (milln’s tournament) so they usually have a LOT more setups but we will have 5-6 over there…wouldn’t be any room for any others right now…we are changing the format of the arcade over slightly to be more console oriented After April 30 so I am plan on putting more setups permanently…it’s going to be pretty cool after April 30 
I was with BoodyWarrior(Rob) at the T&G tourney. I was the guy whose name was Mr.Illuminati. I stay over on summer though.

If you stay in Bartlett area, there’s a few guys that way, and one of the “hotspots”. Basically, not all shit that goes down gets posted in this thread. There’s a bunch of people who don’t even post here. Rob actually knows about the regular spots. We don’t play as much collectively as we used to, but there’s usually always some games somewhere.
Like I said, Rob knows what’s what. Ain’t shit changed except certain people playing certain games now. Just get with him. We need an arcade back, but everyone usually knows if something is happening or not.

well shit. I can’t make it to the tourney. I have to finish up a project for a client that is going out of town tomm. I tried my ass off to get it done today, worked 13 hours straight, but still have some stuff I have to finish. I will make it to the next one hopefully, and sucks that I am missing memphis. Good luck to everyone, and I guess the only good that will come from this is that hopefully tomm night, a finished MWC trailer will be available for the masses.

So down for this LAN. Gotta get some counter-strike and quake live going at some point for sure. I’ll probably have a spare PC by then if needed. Nothing great, but would run LOL, TF2 and any other source game fine.
Lol well it depends. If you’re more into the Capcom fighters and newer games, then here would be a good place to get acquainted to.
For Tekken and OG stuff, then you have to kind of keep your ear to the streets.
Everyone’s pretty much cool with everyone, but not everyone goes to everything. So you have different groups at certain gatherings or sessions unless it’s a random Fight Night or tournament.
I really appreciate what Darren and co. are doing at T&G, but still wish we still had an arcade in the middle of town that was the hub or stomping ground that nearly everyone popped up at. Damn. R.I.P. Fun Fair…
Really wishing Cookeville played more Tekken now. Wanna play it so bad for some reason.
Cody pretty much had to play by himself when Ian and Charlie quit, unless he came here or traveled. Which made his move to Florida not all that difficult.
Arson says he likes Jin but not SF x T. That just screams that he should play Tekken. That’s 2 people right there, and more than some guys have who get the only experience they have from online or traveling to tournaments. You guys did it for XIII before everyone had it on console. Chris Brown said that he wants to get on it for real now and maybe he will play it a bit since he isn’t focusing so much on AE (I think). If at least 3 of you play regularly then it might inspire collective interest. Like that shit Cody was trying to do that nothing came of except for that one day.
Just play it with Sev tomorrow though. Jin doesn’t throw orbs or have kicks that make you spin for eternity, but it might attract some peeps to give it a try. Which is more than it had sitting in that arcade for the past two or 3 years.
