And yeah, I need to learn how to use Psylocke and Spiral again… It was cool playing you guys, even though there weren’t as much people as I expected (where the hell were the San Diego peeps?!?). The tournament was damn fun. Thanks to everyone for showing up and dealing with the outlandish 50 cent games ;[. This has been the most fun I have had at a tournament. Good games, everyone from RiCo. You all are my heroes.
Tony: Almost there, good games. You are still a lot better than me but I will eventually reach you. Congrats on #1. When I get up to Riverside, you, Zaza, and Carlos will have to teach me a bunch of shit that I do not yet know. Your Storm/Capcom owns me for free. I need to learn how to defend against it ;[. I am still learning though. Team Pink Fo Life.
Zaza: I can now say that I had my ass handed to me by the best wolverine player on the planet. Thanks for the beat down. Nice job with the brackets too, you really should scan that shit onto your computer and just print it out all the time, but you need to add colors to it and decorations. And more ASCII symbols lol fucking Lucky Charms and shit.
Walter: It was cool finally talking with you, didn’t really get the chance to at the Golfland Weekly. Good games. We still need our rematch, but it looks like I did take 3rd. ;]. We’ll have to play on a different machine though, or use your sticks, I want to play against your Cammy. Good times.
Carlos: That T. Bone set up is top tier. Way to fuck shit up like always. I want to play you more though, we didn’t have many matches :(. That Spiral/Sent trap may be old school but you know how to adjust to pushblocks and shit, I was impressed. RiCo prevails once again. 
Marcos: Didn’t talk with you much, but you beat me repeatedly. Your Iron Man is top tier. And always remember ::Infinite:: Good Games though.
Temecula: I still own you guys for free ;[. Keep practicing.
Overall, it was one of the most fun tournaments I have been to, thanks to Team RiCo. You guys are bad ass. Can’t wait for the next tournament. Additionally, 2 weeks and I will be in Riverside.

Well, here’s the standpoint of a newby tourney player:
It was damn awesome. Good players, good matches, good times. Nice people, too. I’m amazed of the variety (wolverines) and the uniformity (the thousands of Sents). It was a very good learning experience for me, a somewhat decent player, to watch all of you play. I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience of a MVC2 tournament. Being in my lil town, I don’t meet a lot of good players (I finally met bill the beginning of this summer!). this will help me a lot. Looking forward for more. Just, please, try not beating my ass so hard. Oh, and for Zaza, I want a Spiderman rematch. It was just too damn good.

Carlos (The Spiral player): Heh, my Spiral officially sucks now, and I finally get to play a good Spiral player. Even though that shit’s kinda old, at least it still works pretty well against a Spiral scrub :). Nice Tron, BTW.
Tony: Some close games between me and you, except my 3rd character was usually crap. Congrats on winning the second smallest prize money in MvC2 history! (The smallest was there is no prize money in one of Genghis’ Nickel freebie tourneys…). Even though San Diego was a no show, at least we got more peeps than Genghis’ “128 Man” tourneys… We need to get you to play the Pump-It-Up machine one of these days…
Walter: Had some fun playing ya on the tourney. VERY close match but we weren’t used to the sticks yet, and you did some Magical Hailstorm to kill me :lol: And that XvSF machine was REEEEAAALLY fucked up, but it was funny.
It was a cool tourney in Scrubville, which is probably like the last for me since I’m gonna be slaving my ass off in school (hey, I got 4 AP classes, dammit…) and I have no time for Marvel. But I’ll find times to squeeze in Marvel like during winter breaks or something…

I can do some Fast Fly stuff… I can probably help you out there… But good luck getting off the Storm infinite on the arcade (I can do it on the DC, but that’s different), and the Magneto slide infinite is a pain unless you have quick hands and REALLY good execution on somewhat crappy sticks…
We gotta settle this whole “undisputed” thingy sometime soon… Looks like you don’t wanna share the throne with me J/K.

Well, the tournament results show that I am undisputed in Temecula. But if any of you kids want to try and take my crown. Bring it. My fingers are fast enough, I just need to learn how to do it ;[. Did you see me doing that other Mag infinite? The super jump cancel short, short one. Then I started mixing it up with short, roundhouse, super jump cancel short roundhouse. Yeah, that is why I am going to get everyone from Temecula onto SRK and have them post on this thread. So that when I go to UCR all of you Temeculans will still play, hopefully. And maybe give me some competition when I come down every now and again from UCR. Just keep playing and you are bound to get good, if you want to that is.
I don’t know about Brendon owning Temecula once Bill leaves. Me and him haven’t played yet. We’ll just have to see, won’t we, ladies and gentlemen?
