:lol:, yeah right. I could beat Wong by the time they (including Shady and Genghis) do come up. But if they really do come up, then that’d be weird and cool at the same time, since Temecula won’t be Scrubville for a day and we get some good competition.
By the way, I’m thinking about throwing a tourney this Saturday (the 7th), since I’m free that day. APEX-sanctioned or not, there should be a tourney (damn you, Javi) since I’m bored as hell with schoolwork and I need to keep my skills up. I’ll leave it up to you on how to get the tourney together, but I can do some other stuff like brackets and etc.
I didn’t mean Shady and Genghis. Ray and Reece will probably be there, I’m not sure about any others. I am going to ask Jay if he will set the machine to 1 quarter if we have the tourney. Try and get a bunch of people to show up.
OK, we just need to set up a time for the tourney to start, and registration times if we need to (like 30 mins. before tourney starts or something…). I hope there would be more than 20 peeps this time around…

Great. I was close to obtaining an account, except Javi screwed up and thought the arcade was somewhere in Canada. Looks like I’m back to step 1 again… At least Javi is getting some work done…

Hey guys, I’m thinking about starting the tourney at around 2:00 P.M. this Saturday. Registration starts 1:30 P.M. there. Reason why I think we should start it by 2 is that we’d be able to have Saturday afternoon/night free to ourselves (I got some plans Sat. night). Tell me what you think… Oh, and if Bill can get the manager to get the MvC2 machine on Free Play or 1 Credit, I’m thinking about making the Entrance Fee like $2.00. But if Bill can’t get the machine changed, Entrance Fee would be free or maybe $1.00 (probably free, because you pay 50 cents a game… damn management). Double Elimination, and depending on how many peeps show up, 2 of 3 or 3 of 5. We’ll make it 2/3 if we can’t get the manager to lower the credits, but 3/5 if we get it on Free Play or on 25 cents.

They said they wouldn’t change the price of the game ;[. So, I say we make it a 1 dollar entry fee and single elimination it. But make the rounds 2 out of 3. Making it during the day works well, John will be able to play then. I’ll try and get Ray and Reece to come up and play. Should be fun. I am learning a new infinite with Magneto. The shit is too good. I’ll show you in the tournament.
OK, got some news: Javi is gonna add APEX sometime soon, so we can still make the tourney add towards APEX; I’ll just post the results when Javi gives me the account. I think Double Elimination is better, because it gives the scrubs a chance to play against other scrubs instead of you plowing through them all in like half an hour :lol:. And, depending on the number of peeps that sign up, I might either drop the Entrance Fee or make it a buck. And it’ll probably be 1st:65%, 2nd:25%, 3rd:10% for pot money (even though it’ll probably be like $5 total… and then you realize that it ends in a deficit because you add the money spent on credits…)

Few thingz: Umm…if it is goin’ to be 50 centz to per play, then da entry feez should be waved and still keep it at 2 out of 3. If there will be a entry fee, then have it only one match. Best of 3 matchez will make da tourny costly. Also consider da fact that only 10 people might show up(not sayin’ n-e thing, but how many random people do u expect to show up???) It should be winner take all if da fee is not waved.

I’ll probably waive the entry fee if there’s a pretty good number of people there. After all, I’ll try to add this to APEX; you just need to bug the hell out of Javi to add the arcade to APEX. Last time I heard from him, he thought that the arcade was in Canada…:lol:
Me and a few other RiCo members are gonna be down there for sure. Is the tourney in the Temecula Mall?? I just want to make sure we are going to the right area. Also, Try to come a bit early cuz we should be there early as well to get used to the sticks and set-up of the machines. In addition, who is going to this tourney for sure?? Directions to Temecula Mall from San Diego:
Take I-15 North until you pass the Riverside County border (there’s a U.S. Customs checkpoint JUST near it). After you pass the checkpoint, you’re in Temecula already; exit Winchester Road (which is the 3rd exit after the checkpoint, but before the I-215 freeway) and turn right. The mall is easily visible on the right side after you travel a few yards. Arcade is right next to the main entrance of the mall, so it’s in the mall.
From Riverside:
Take I-15 or I-215 South. Just right after the two freeways merge, the next exit should be Winchester Road. Take the exit and turn left. Mall is on right, and arcade is in the mall, right next to the main entrance.
