It’s 14.4 points on your card, that is if you’re a V.I.P. (which I am). I think regular cards have to pay 16 points. Either way, 15 points = A FUCKING DOLLAR, so everybody’s pay around/more than a dollar to play the game.
Also, none of Feng’s combos from 5/DR work anymore…
Just played it. And the results are amazing!!! I LUV Tekken 6. It looks gorgeous and it plays gorgeous. I only played as Zafina and Leo, both really fun to play as. I got to play against some tournament players, held my own in there, but got my ass kicked mostly, lol. Game feels and looks very fluid, the characters don’t look robotic anymore. Feels like the bastard child of DOA4 and Tekken5. Rage isn’t that big of deal, but at times it can make the difference. (I got a rage win comeback with Leo, felt very rewarding)
Overall I’m very impressed and can’t wait to go back next week to play some more.
It’s about a buck per play at PZ, but it goes a long way. I played a bunch of matches(about 8 or 9) and even had room for some MVC2 on the side on $10.
But on the plus side, you can now do combos into that funny low low mid string, I think it’s d/b2,2,1. He looks super pissed off and flails his hands around in circles with complete disregard for the other guy.
Feng is my primary character. Now I gotta relearn him
Still, that could change since I <3 Lili these days and of course I can’t wait to get my hands on Leo/Bob
hm i wouldnt know yet. Lines are about an hour long so no one is really trying out random characters. Though you’d probably have to check tekkenzaibatsu for a real answer.
Didn’t see anyone respond to your initial remark anyway. We know there are tons of people who’d love Tekken on the 360 but it’s not happening at the present moment of time.
It could happen down the line though, if Namco could be bothered to port it. Never thought Virtua Fighter would ever see an Xbox and it did so you can’t count it out.
Maybe with Tekken 7 if they don’t develop it on similar PS3 hardware
King is decent. Lei is supposed to be REALLY good, in the top 4. As far as the biggest repertoire of damage I don’t think anyone is beating Bob right now. He’s just too good, all joking aside. His high low game is sick and he can string a deceptive amount of kicks into his B combos. Right now but appears to be the best in T6, but then again that’s who everyone is using. Other characters that look like that could be tops.
Anna/kaz/dj over bruce/nina/baek for sure. Atleast with the knowledge we have as the moment. Things are bound to change though (no pun intended).
As for lei, yeah he’s pretty ok now. It will take a while to get used to all the new stuff though. Im still trying to figure out what moves are garbage and what are worth something. I’ll be whoring d/b+4 a LOT more this time around though.
Just being curious but how does Julia, Nina, and Asuka play on there? They are my favorite characters…if they worse then I’m not gonna even bother playing the game. I hated how they changed Julia up on T5 I had to relearn her (well I was trying to relearn her until I gave up; dont got the patience like I use to lol)
She was fundamentally the same in T5~DR as she was in TTT~T4. 1~1,1/1,2,1 crap, CH 4 into elbows. Same ol’ shit. In T6 she’s REALLY different.
-CH 1~1,1 does a butt stun(Feng’s df+1 on CH) instead of a launch. It can be tech rolled pretty easily, but you can launch them if they don’t.
-1,2,1 is GONE. She has jab strings now though(1,2,1,2), and you can go into spins from her 1,2 string.
-f,f+1~4 ends with her b+4 which is high and is safe on block, not her ws+4.
-She actually has a strong attack that hits grounded now(f,f+2).
Those are the major ones. If you don’t want to relearn her play with Nina instead(she isn’t much different besides her uf+1 doesn’t hit grounded and WTF is easier to see.) Asuka is stronger with juggle damage, but her loss of 2 not launching anymore really hurts IMO.
