Seriously, getting rid of Heihachi would suck even if he is too old. If they brought in some new young mishima as the Heihachi replacement that would piss me off even more. Just leave him in.
He was central to a lot of character’s stories, but having Jin be the new main villain I imagine they do plan on letting him go after this game though.
They won’t get rid of Heihachi because of age, I mean seriously Wang is what 105? And he’s still participating in the tournaments. They’ll most likely kill him off some how if they decide to get rid of him.
I am not a fan of Law having shaved. I also like Heihachi.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think I’ve been doing the 2x hellsweep into uppercut, then d+1 to end combos with Heihachi since T2. I’ve always liked his style, and it isn’t tekken without him.
And I got pissed every fucking time the AI grabbed me with 2+4 into stomp.
If there is a character that needs to go it’s Jinpachi. Even his weakened form is boring and unoriginal.
Heihachi I remember was stated by the Namco that he is the most loved character from the Tekken series, henced why he’s in so many other Namco spinoff’s. I highly, highly doubt since that if he’s that popular and such a favorite from the group of people who make the Tekken games that he’ll be dead anytime soon.
So, sorry to burst your guys bubble, also, Wang is 105…he’s much older than Hei is, however my only beef of Hei dying would be that his form of Mishima arts would have to be carried out by someone, because No Mishima plays the same.
Very true, and I have to agree that if they do get rid of Heihachi (sooner or later) there’s going to be someone with his fighting style (either exact or something like 80/20 mix). Heh, I just thought of something. Since Ling is heading down the same path as Jun, pretty much, guess that means that Hei’s moves are going to go to Jin and Ling’s kid XD.
My problem with Heihachi is that he’s top or high tier in like every game.
I wonder how close Asuka and Jin were? I mean you found out they were cousins and that was it. At least they explained the family ties between Jin, Kaz, and Heihachi much better.
Agreed. They probably could’ve done a extra special fight in their story lines that would explain a little bit more.

I don’t think any of the Tekken cast know of Asuka and Jin’s relationship.
I mean, Kazuya and Jun had a child together, but Jun raised Jin in the wilderness in isolation and died, presumably not telling anyone in her family about him. In Asuka’s T5 ending, assuming it’s canon, Asuka and Jin didn’t even know each other. Jin was all “Who are you? Where am I? This place…” and Asuka was all “YOU PERVERT!!!”
Well, he spent a lengthy amount of time in Asuka’s bosom.

-Bob seems fast as fuck, and reportedly has a crouch dash. Defintely NOT a Mokujin character(yay).
-Lili’s hop kick doesn’t launch anymore??? As a Lili player I’ll admit it was pretty gay, but they better give her something else to compensate. Her new kick seems pretty cool but it’s mid, which sucks unless it tracks well.
-The stupid flaming hands are gone! Rage effect looks alot better.
-Eddy looks like he has a new low, high/mid attack. Probably a option instead of slippery kicks.
-King’s new kick string looks kinda retarded lol. I hope he has a mixup to go with the dropkick ender.

The boss does appear to be some type of Egyptian god or something. It’s kind of lame because that is what they already did with Soul Calibur 3. Oh well.
I also just kind of noticed this, but are all the character designs the same from tekken 5 DR? Is this the first game that they don’t change it? It really does seem like a bad idea because it kind of is hard to differentiate it from tekken 5 now that I see gameplay footage.
