The graphics are indeed better then DRâs by a longshot, however when everyone wears the same outfit, it to me just looks like a prettier DR, yes, most likely they are keeping the old costumes because youâll be able to customize your character.
However, itâs just depressing when they showed the Intro with Jin Kazama way back for Tekken 6 with the sweat and how realistic it looked. Thatâs what Tekken 6 should have been. You shouldnât show us that superb of a quality intro and then give us something thatâs not even within that standard.
Anyhow, graphics are my least main concern with Tekken 6, btw, Law, Paul and Steve have formed a trio, either Musketeers or 3 Amigos, or whatever, sighâŚNamcoâs running out of storylines, they need to give these guys better stories, especially Law and Paul.
The fact that people even expected the game to look like that seems a little ridiculous since thatâs even better than T5âs CG movies. But I think you hit on something I never really realized: People keep saying it doesnât look THAT much better because it doesnât look THAT much different, seeing it has the same costumes and all. If Namco had take the time to re-design everyone, they would be getting at least a few people to shut up, since it would look more fresh and new. I for one think itâs a great looking game so far, but oh well.
Bobâs style on the site is listed as âfreestyle,â so that may or may not be a confirmation.

Those new Tekken screens look nice, real smooth like and not jaggy like the first screen shots. Game is looking better than ever, now If they could add some flavor to those basic looking stages.

While it may seem ridiculous with that Jin Intro, my thoughts are that something shouldâve been closer to that, I wouldnât of mind if Tekken 6 didnât come out for another year to achieve that kind of look, and if it did, it wouldâve blown everyone out of their seats. T6 still looks nothing but a prettier DR with someone going in and doing some anti-aliasing, if we are just looking at it from a graphical standpoint that is.
However my biggest concern isnât the graphics, itâs what they are doing to the gameplay of Tekken 6 :tdown:
Iâve just looked at all the story updates and the new screenshots. And it seems to be looking great. Itâs a shame to see Paul not fight the aliens. I was looking forward to that. Steve might throw a kick for real this time. And not from a roll or standing up, but a real kick with the kick button as a move part of his moveset. And shouts to Bob holdin it down for the big fellas. I might learn to play Bob just on just because. Social Conscious ass beatings all around courtesy of Bob. Something I can definately be a part of. Ling and Lili are fighting on top of a giant roulette table. And to play it up even more Ling has some Glow in the Dark Air Forces. I think I may need a pair of those. In light blue of course. But the game is shaping up to be something great. I just hope they donât screw it up.

If anything, the majority if doujin artists dig heug bubz, which makes the lack of Asuka doujins even more surprising to me.
