my personal opinion is that you will have a very small crowd, I am not going to make it because it starts at 4 in downtown Tampa. That means going over the Howard Franklin bridge at rush hour. Plus like most people I have a day job that lasts until at the earliest 3:30 every day. when I was doing casuals in Sarasota I had to start at 6 and it still took until about 8 for people to show up. And to be totally honest I think that there are too many people throwing tournaments in the area. If we split all the people up between two and three tournaments every month, attendance at all of them is going to be low. I think all of the people looking to be organizers need to get together and throw one decent tournament a month where the winner of each game has the chance of winning a decent amount of money instead of 60-80 bucks. I know that I can make about one tourney a month and I am staying faithful to serenity and st Pete showdown because they have been there forever and I go there for casuals. However if there was a large gather every month or two I would make a point to attend.
Anyway… I digress
When does MVC start tonight? I get off work at 8 and can probably be there by 8:15. I’d be willing to go straight to losers if I’d hold shit up.
