i’m trying to schedule work trips around FR… it’s never worked in the past, but i have high hopes this year due to some awesome shenanigans.

I would like to thank majority of Tampa for playing characters I can do some seriously nifty things to. Now I just have to get that shit down.
Hallade told me Tampa Never Sleeps usually ends by 4a. That’s plenty of time to rest and be at the store by 1p for SoulCalibur V. Also, alot of you guys were at Apex, and plan on being at Final Round and CEO. It’s good training for 24-hour pools

Well for those in south tampa, I talked to the guy at Your Pies and he’s willing to let me hold some tournies. I’m thinking bi-monthly RanBats. Of course we’d give the guy a small venue fee and/or a cut of the pots (who knows, maybe he could discount us some pizzas or something!). Anyone down for it? I for one would love to chow down on some pizza while watching a tournament.
Also I was thinking Umvc3, SF4, and MK but I don’t know what the popular fighters in tampa are. Maybe some tekken and blazblue as well?
EDIT: is there enough of a smash scene here to hold smash tournies as well? Because if so I’ll post on swf as well

360 for most stuff as far as people here are concerned. I dunno about the blazblue/etc guys from dustloop, they might go ps3, at least for now I’m sure they do so they can play extend
if you do any mk playing it’ll most likely be ps3 I think because 360 pad sucks
and I dunno about for soul calibur, might also be more ps3? I haven’t been to casuals for a few weeks and haven’t ever been to sore thumbs so I’m not sure what they do.
Well I’ve got AE and Umvc3, but I’d probably need someone to bring a copy of the others. I was thinking depending on how many people we have and how long we hold it for we could have a 3-5 tournies.
Who would be up for this, I’m suppose to give the owner a rough guess on the head count.
