Notice how all of the charge characters (sans DeeJay) have been top tier since Vanilla? It’s cuz of their ease of use. They all have high priority pokes that are hard to consistently punish. They have great AA game. It takes effort to make any character great. But it doesn’t take much to be a good, or even really good Bison. What Bison players can do in their sleep, most of the cast has to work hard on.
So, yes, Bison requires little skill to be good with, as do the other charge characters, except Vega, who has to work as hard as the rest of the cast.

First, look at the tier list for back when Super came out. Top five characters were Honda, Chun, Guile, Balrog, and Bison. The charge characters.
Guess you’ll find out the hard way that I could give two shits about you being butthurt about it. The fact is, he’s a REALLY basic character with REALLY basic executive skills. But, like I said, and like you seem to have missed, it takes effort to make any character great, which is why there are great Bisons and Guiles and Chuns out there.
Honestly, if I had to describe your Bison, I think braindead is a pretty good characterization. Bad? Nope. Great? Of course not. But certainly braindead. Booker’s Bison, too. Just who the character is.

Both Bison and Balrog you can get away with just having good basics because they’re buttons are so good, and their specials actually do stuff. (lolskyhighclawlol). I’d probably do better at tournaments playing either one of those characters first round.
Dirty tricks with wesker don’t exist if you put him last. Sadly you just block string, teleport and hope they don’t block. Btw shoutouts to Marlin pie for winning last night now I don’t feel so bad after losing to a viper at ceo. Viper the character that is scarier than wesker and she always has her glasses on

yeaaah I loved that grand finals. I’m all about the lame stuff so seeing chrisg play possibly lamer than even dieminion was cool, but I’m gay for marlinpie so I had to root for him
