@Drew: Just keep at it. It felt weird to me when playing on it, but i’ve been playing with my JLW-UM for a while now. You can just stretch or double your spring. I have a jlf spring you can have if you need it.

Welcome to the world of Marvel vs. Capcasual 3. That’s right, I’m gonna take you on a *wild, non-competitive, non-tournament worthy *ride!
I know. The real internet is the main problem, otherwise, I’d have already been doing these things (where I live doesn’t allow me to solve that problem). Everything else I’m doing is to develop my overall gaming sense about the game, which is increasingly becoming more important. Since the competition here isn’t as diverse as I’d need it to be improve drastically, then I’m doing what I can to improve in the areas that I can, at least as far as this game is concerned.
So I have a request to anyone with a capture card or HD camera that wants to help me shoot footage for an Ultimate Marvel video… I want to make a walkthrough video for Team Chair. I’ll have most of the video planned out prior to the game dropping (as most of the concepts will stay the same), so I know what shots I’ll need to take when the game comes out and it’s time to record. I feel like this will be a strong team in UMVC3 and I don’t want someone to pick up my Chairmen and claim it as their own!
Get at me if you have the equipment and don’t mind recording with me the week Ultimate comes out! I’d like to have the movie uploaded by that Saturday so it can hit the fighting game community early into Ultimate’s life.
I have a camcorder we can use Jarv. It worked pretty well for Chris’ video.

Just gotta take some caps of the explanations in there (where it talks about stuffing supers with A.Blast, take a clip of that, etc.) so it shouldn’t be too hard. I want to make a picture of all the space Modok can take up, if possible (to go where it says “Show all of modok’s tools”). Like, screen cap him spamming all his moves individually, and then photoshop all the cubes/slime/bombs/etc. onto a pic of him doing Psionic Blast to show the whole space MODOK can take up. Add that to dorm tower and doom missiles and dude can really zone!

Nope, IMO there’s Momochi confirming Momochi is a goddamn great player that chose a good character. I don’t think one player winning a tournament with someone puts the character at a new level, it speaks more of the player. Let’s talk when we see multiple Codys (I mean more than Momochi’s) making money in majors.
I’ve said it from the beginning, people gotta stop letting Cody press buttons (and what Chris said on Tuesday, when you’re in cr.strong range you don’t press ANY buttons besides throw tech) but that’s harder than it looks. Even when Flash was up and everyone was like “oh yeah he practices against Ryan Hunter so he should be g2g”, there was Momochi getting up in GIEF’S face like a boss.
