one tactic Kokujin likes to use wuth Dudley is empty jump > c.LK xx SA3.
- is it technically possible to throw Dudley before he does the c.LK?
- is it difficult?
one tactic Kokujin likes to use wuth Dudley is empty jump > c.LK xx SA3.
the reason that works is because by the time they try to throw, its too late.
asking if its technically possible to throw him out of it is obvious, c.short is like 4 or 5 frames, throws are 3. but when you account human/mental error in the situation he does it in, its easy to understand WHY it works.
if youâre trying to high parry, there is very little time to transition.
sex packets: you can only do it in certain situations to characters who can normally be dashed through.
I donât think you can tech if you werenât in a neutral state to begin with. If heâs mashing throw heâs probably whiffing something and your throwing him, so no tech.
yeah but if heâs in any form of stun, itâll throw âquickerâ than it normally would (at least for someone who doesnât know when they are getting out of hit/blockstun lol)
there probably is a delay but im not sure, i dont have a game to test it out on lol
*I know this was already mentioned in a previous post, but the link on the first page for juggle value info is dead. Does anyone know of another location where said information might be stored? *
Iâve got a quick question:
what do you call it when you dash under a jump in and hit the apponent while theyâve got their back still turned to you in the air or on the ground?
you dont call it anything. the reason that works is because either the person lost their tripguard by pressing something in the air, or they tried to mash throw or do something besides block, not because the sprite is flipped.
the other day I was playing with some friends and it was alex v urien. I believe alex did his dashing in move w\e its called and urien did a uoh and manged to get over alexâs sprite and land an xup uoh. You would think that @ least alexâs dash move would of hit him out of the air but it didnâtâŚ
can all uohâs xup like that or does there have to be a specific situation to happen, IE one character doing a fwd movement move? or is it character dependant? iâve been playing the game for quite some time and never seen\heard of uohâs xing up.
this was done on ps2 by the way.
that happened because of 3sâ weird hitbox system. i think in uoh the hitbox is wider than you can see, and as a result it crossed up. its really situational though. it would be hard to setup with every character to test in the first place, i wouldntâ be surprised if other uohâs had similar hitboxes.
i think you can cross someone up if theyre not in the hit frames yet (meaning the absolute start of a uoh) and theyre in the air, someone can dash under, same thing happens with two sorts of airborne dashes like chunâs and remyâs.
Alex ducks down while dashing forward. That must be why it went through a UOH (together with the fact that the UOH wasnât in its hit-state soon enough). The UOH appearantly has a pretty wide hitbox, as mentiond - so that should explain why it hit Alex from behind.
what is the number of frames you need wait for grab a guy after a air recovery/block stun /damage stun/weak up??
i think this is the place to ask?
Noob: whats Zoneing mean lol
Zoning is the act of manuevering your character with relation to your opponentâs character to achieve a desired result.
o thx
i would like this information too
Zero frames after they have recovered from jump/ block/ whatever?
U can grab in the first frame after the blockstun/hitstun end, thatâs basic knowledge also keep in mind that normal throws are 3 frames if i remember correct so u need good timing for your tick throw game to be effective.
For the wakeup stuff there is a 5 frames window after they get up from grounded and during this time theyâre invulnerable to grab this means they can always jump out of your throw attempt if they know itâs coming.
Last, the air recovery scenario is very difficult to understand and explain, i havenât completely figured it yet
why does yang cross-up some characters after hitting mantis slashes.
Is there a list for all the characters that are crossed-up?
Does a characterâs hit box change when they crouch?
