I can’t have people thinking I’m actually decent at something.

Lol @roknin you need the turtle shell haven’t been checking the thread.
If you make another video of you trying let me know.
Makes me want to make more levels but when I try starting to make one I feel like I’m writing an essay and feel overwhelmed
Hrm. My Water Temple has only 2 people that have played on it in the 3 days it’s been up and only 5 attempts on it with 0 clears. I wonder if the name is scaring people away.
At 46 stars now though. Just need 4 more and I can finally finish my Hyrule series of courses.
If I get on I’ll just give you the rest
I haven’t played a lot lately, but dang, I got inspired to Make.
Here’s Wicked Wiggler’s Wonky Wachinery.
ID: 3990-0000-00B9-4012
Action puzzling in a place chock full of conveyor belts. Figure out how to get to that marked door or pipe in three areas, some of them autoscrolling. And get some revenge on the mad Wigglers while you’re at it.
If you fail at a puzzle, handy doors or pipes will bring you back to the start of each one.
This one took a TON of testing to make sure all the doors were going the right way and that everything worked the way it was supposed to.

Something cool I found on SA:
(No need to apologize, Roknin. It’s not like you’re obligated to post anything. I kind of figured you were either just on vacation or sick, and you ended up being both, which is a reminder that everyone should be getting their flu shots even though like half of the nation doesn’t.)
That said, I personally apologize for not updating the front post in the past couple of days despite obviously being on at least yesterday. I was uncertain about what I should update the first post with, for starters, beyond the usual stages and videos and then I got distracted by, unfortunately, checking up on Game Grumps to see how many more Mario Maker videos they had done by this point. Outside of a genuinely funny moment in episode 17, it was, as ever, a waste of time, so I won’t be doing that again, at least anytime soon.
I also needed a bit of breather since on Monday I surprisingly got legitimately annoyed at watching Intuitive2011 play some of the levels he encountered for…various reasons, particularly the third and the fifth one in his video; in part I think it was because we saw all of his deaths in an almost hour long video. Of course, that feels a bit hypocritical given I in turn laughed at the genuine, soul-crushing, controller-throwing frustration in Roknin’s last two videos, but I’ve always admitted to being horrible person like that, so that’s nothing new really.
Anyway, Intuitive2011’s first two videos, Roknin’s latest two videos, ReggieHadoken’s latest stage, T20thoughts’s tidbit about Bowser (Sr.) at the top of the page, and Zebster’s SA-related discovery just above me are now all represented in the first post.
The Game Grumps rage at MM levels gets a bit samey by now, but yes, episode 17 in that series is seriously one of the funniest things I’ve seen them do.
Just something about the combination of genuine pain and exhaustion on Dan’s part combined with Arin’s constant terrible-Star-Wars-joking just making it worse… It just works, man.
Hell, here, I’ll post it.
Funnyyyyyy JOKE!
Koops up, Bros. down

I seem to be addicted to having people wake up at the beginning and get agitated at the end. Game has made me a monster as expected
You have one clear now.
Did you intend to have Mario take a green shell into the first pipe with him to the underwater part? I used it to take care of the spike where the star is and the backtrack with Yoshi to get the feather. At first I used the shell to get to the P switch and grab the feather first, but then I had to lose it to get the star and Yoshi. Very cool level.
The green shell was unintentional, but sounds like it didn’t break the level, so that’s good. The intention there was to stomp on one of the Galoombas (whatever they’re really called) and use one of them to clear out the spike. Since you can still land on top of them and knock them out, then pick them up, even when underwater.
Glad to hear you enjoyed it though.
And that puts me at 50 stars, so I’ll be putting a couple levels back up.
“Dreams of flight”
A749-0000-00BC-F381
“Hyrule 2”
4578-0000-00BC-F5D1
(Good to hear you broke through another limit.)
I’ll put those back up in a minute. [EDIT: Whoops. Forgot to come back and confirm that I did so already. Same for Autocrat1’s latest level too.]
In the meanwhile, I just came across a level akin to the “Waluigi’s Unbearable Existence” one:
Oh. Whoops. I actually meant 16 then, particularly because of what happened around 03:55. Still, 17 was bearable enough even if I don’t particularly care about Star Wars one way or another and the jokes themselves were (intentionally) unfunny. It’s better to hear them have some actual fun with the game rather than rage and despair non-stop.
Thanks true, still I have a habit of starting stuff/projects and then losing track. Really want to not do that with this series as I enjoy it so much, and its cool being able to talk to you guys about the lives as well.
T20 - you certain about the conveyors? I swear I was running on them for dear life and couldn’t make headway, I might be wrong, though.
I’m going to give it another shot… mainly because this happened:
…and reminded me that the other levels weren’t nearly as bad. At least I could take more than five steps lol.
I’ll have to give it another go. I still feel like I don’t understand completely what to do.
I try to limit how much I try a level so I can do at least 3 different stages per video, I may revisit some for the next one. Right now due to file size I have a hard limit of 35-ish minutes per vid unless I destroy the quality, heh.
@roknin - I just tested fast conveyors in SMBU with small Mario and with Yoshi. Same speed! Yoshi does give the impression of accelerating slower thanks to the way he’s animated, but in reality, you have the same run speed on or off Yoshi.
Only thing I know of that changes your basic run speed is the star, which makes you run faster.
Just finished my latest course - Dippy Mole Carnage

This is my first auto-scrolling stage. Monty Moles are my easily favorite enemies right now… so I designed the course almost entirely around them.

Ok folks, here’s my latest and greatest:
** Stars, Spikes, & Fire**

I made a new level called The Switch-Up: 828C-0000-00C5-580A
I’m a bit disappointed with how this turned out due to the P-Switch effect continuing when you enter a pipe. That’s by design, but it forced me to make changes I didn’t want to make.

Have fun
(If you could give the name of course when you actually have the time, @RagingStormX, then I would appreciate it. At present, you’re in-between po pimpus and ReggieHadoken.)
That said, I’ve updated the first post with the courses in the last four posts now. I was taking for granted that T20thoughts was doing it, but I’m guessing he’s busy, which is fine. Either way, it’s done now.
Since I’m posting, I might as well link to this before I forget (again):
