It was kinda cool seeing Michael Des Barres (Murdoc in MacGyver) in tonight’s episode.
Had he been not cast for the role he played, it would’ve been interesting if he had played a role as a character that had some interaction with Harvey as well.
Harvey stopping by Mike’s place was a nice touch.
Rachel…
That dress… That vision of looking hella FINE…
The ‘Louis and Rachel’ team was a fun watch.
Rachel had to remind Louis about his ‘killer instinct’ because he was slipping for a moment.
Jessica showing why she is the HBIC to the female judge.
Apparently, she pulled a prank on Louis and got Harvey blamed for it? Damn.
Harvey saying that he was the one that pissed in Louis’ office instead of his cat was funny.
That scene with Harvey confronting Louis was intense.
Harvey doing rushdown which prompted Louis to go into full runaway mode was something else.
It kinda reminded me of something in MGS where the Ninja was walking down Otacon, who ended up pissing himself cause he was scared.
The preview for next week’s episode looks to be quite interesting.
LOVE this show, had no idea SRK had a thread on this until recently. This show really stands out among the USA shows because of it’s amazing dialogue and banter between characters. Everyone seems to have their own brand of charisma on this show.
Except Hardman who they have not done such a great job of being this scary uber badass lawyer they made him out to be so far. I’d be more scared of Harvey or even Louis when he’s on than Hardman so far.
Jessica is so perfect on this show. Everything she does is measured and elegant but when she flips the switch and goes She-Hulk on people it’s amazing. She’s the hottest to me, maybe it’s just her character but she is always stunning.
Well the point of Hardman right now is supposed to be this complete Snake in the grass. He has to hold back on the badass for the time being, because if he tries anything too blatantly obvious now, the firm will turn on him in a second. I think we’ll see more from him later when he can actually make power plays.
And Jessica is the best, courtesy of Gina Torres. Not many people can put cutthroat, badass, beauty and grace all into one package, but she does it flawlessly.
You’re likely right it’s just they made such a big deal out of his return that I guess I expected more scary from him sooner. And I fully agree on Jessica, I’ve always be a guy who’d take beauty over hotness anyday. Hope you know what I mean when I say that.
I have enjoyed Mike and this season really feels like his coming out party where he has got alot of shine. Although this all may be a set-up for his inevitable fall at the end of the season. They have been building back up his and Rachel’s relationship slowly and I could see shit hitting the fans as soon as these all seem to be coming together for him.
Of course he could just get outted first THEN hook up with her once she has her little “ah-ha” moment.
Well the thing is, they built him up big time, but at the same time his main opposition is in house. There’s only so much he could do especially on such a short leash. But if Jessica and Harvey keep pushing his buttons, I’m sure he’ll do something to burn them.
And yes I know what you meant when you say that.
Mike’s definitely getting a lot of good build up this season where he finally gets to show how good he is without Harvey. He fixed his mistakes in court quick and has learned the art of strong-arming, and has finally learned at least on some level how to make sure his compassion can’t be turned around on him so damn easily like it could last season. Like I said though, it would be Mike’s luck to have it all come crashing down. With Rachel constantly lambasting him over his secret, it’s gonna slip, and Rachel will find out by season’s end I’m sure.
It’s funny, the reason he can’t do the relationship with her is BECAUSE he wants to be honest with her, while she thinks it’s the opposite. It’s just funny to me.
Thank god Harvey punched the shit out of Tanner. Tanner’s lucky that’s all he got.
Trial Run putting Louis against Jessica? Did Harvey just call Jessica rusty? Not wise.
Mike is forced on Louis and his team again. And did he just call him lazy? Not wise.
DAMN, Mike just BROUGHT IT to Louis. Not often he gets over him.
Congrats Harvey, taking the bitch route when dealing with Donna has completely turned on you Is it any wonder WHY she’s turned into a bitch on you?
Hmm…Zoe…I like this chick.
Reginald…really?
Mike doing a trial run interrogation on Rachel…seems familiar.
WTF Louis, a Lie Detector? Thank god that Louis didn’t notice the real problem and Mike could recover.
Okay seriously, Mike got his man card this season. He’s going in on EVERYBODY (well, except Rachel and Jessica).
Louis is obviously taking this chance to take pot shots at Jessica without getting reprimanded.
Again…liking Zoe. And I love her accent.
And there’s Donna finally.
Louis…damn. Not only did he cross the line, that’s the first time he’s ever hated doing so. I’m surprised he and Harvey haven’t kicked the crap out of each other yet because they both have reasons to.
Mike, you have to stop with the epiphanies in the middle of sentences.
Mike and Hardman team up again…hurray…but he seems to be unbiased right now, other than not caring if Harvey goes.
Jessica with the touching words, thanks a lot Zoe.
Louis…with the massive respect towards Harvey. Tears man…tears.
Anyone else enjoy the Jessica/Mike convos?
The snake has finally struck. He used Mike to get Harvey to back down, and now he has the partners right where he wants them. This…is…bad.
– Overall, damn good episode. Damn good. Next week, we get a flashback episode which should be…interesting.
The pre-trial run was an interesting event for this episode.
Harvey’s ‘character’ was called into question.
Louis playing Tanner’s role was a nice touch.
Jessica defending Harvey, then the flip at the end.
Mike assisting Louis and getting Donna to appear.
Donna’s surprise appearance.
Hardman just watching things happening and making moves.
Then things were flipped later on when Jessica and Louis took the stand and Harvey at the end as well… So much stuff was just brought out into the open under the guise of the pre-trial.
Other stuff:
lol @ Louis, feeling himself for a bit when he was asked to play Tanner’s role. (…gonna get ‘Litt’ up.)
The part where he ad-libbed for a bit when Donna was on the stand and felt bad about it afterwards was a surprise.
Louis giving props/respect toward Harvey while on the stand was unexpected.
Good shit, Harvey, punching Tanner like that, even though it was something that Tanner probably anticipated.
Tanner was a bit salty at the end too when he showed Harvey the settlement offer stuffs.
Kinda interesting that Mike and Hardman found something to use against Tanner though.
Hardman… This guy.
After the vote, he decides to push his agenda right then and there.
Next week’s episode looks to be pretty interesting.
I wonder if Zoe makes an appearance since she used to work for the firm before.
Well obviously she knew if Mike’s secret got out it would ruin her. But his effort to save Harvey and the firm essentially gave Hardman the ammo he needed to start his uprising.
made me think their was a chance…im sooo confuzzled. i cant tell if she’s really gonna be gone after this season or if they’ll find a way to get her back.
[details=Spoiler]
He wouldn’t have beaten it had Louis not let him off the hook without knowing it. When he realized Louis didn’t care plus started to antagonize Harvey, it gave Mike a chance to get a second wind to man up. He essentially not only got lucky but gave himself a bit more foundation in hiding his secret. And I think we’ll find out who booted him next week. [/details]
