The Suits Thread

It’s why I’m rooting for him.

lmfao this nigga is a spy of some kind…he’s come to steal donna. i feel like she’s a sucker for a nigga wit swag and an accent. sure he doesnt look like harvey, but donna has always come off as the type to not give a big deal over the looks as long as you can talk the talk and walk the walk to her heart(vagina). this nigga pulled a donna and sent spies to find out her weaknesses.

Donna’s weaknesses aren’t exactly hidden information. Hell, he could’ve just asked Louis.

But that would make him weak. I mean him having to ask Louis about Donna? Nope, you gotta go in pimp-style and show Donna that you want her. The man heard of her reputation and did his research before even walking into the building.

He was putting out heat and Donna felt it, now he’s got to reel her in.

i’m sorry…have you been watching this show at all? why the hell would louis give another man information on a woman he’d want for himself? stop that nonsense.

Because Louis knows he ain’t having her and this would be a way to fuck with Harvey.

Besides, I’m not saying he did or should’ve asked him. I’m saying that him doing research on Donna isn’t as godly as some think.

[details=Spoiler]Alright, here we go again.

  • Louis power walks?

  • It seems Louis and Harvey realize it’s not the time to fuck around too much.

  • Never mind…great, now a pissing contest.

  • Mike, what the fuck is with that accent?

  • Harvey always makes his point. Though this is the proverbial rock and hard place.

  • New Donna Dress, that’s a win for everyone.

-Stephen, we agree, we all agree.

  • I’ve never heard of that either actually.

  • Donna confuses Rachel.

  • It’s sometimes hard to remember Harvey’s trying to take down Jessica.

  • And sometimes it’s hard to remember how they were ever close.

  • Sorry Mike, your next two days will suck.

  • Louis, you just gave Harvey shit for doing what you just did now. You really want to go back to the hypocrite crap?

  • Here we go with these two again.

  • We’d ALL love to have Donna relieve our pressure.

  • I hate Katrina. Good thing Louis was already denied.

  • Are Mike and Katrina…getting along!!! I thought the end of the world already passed?!

  • Funny, Jessica spent all that time getting rid of Hardman to be patronized by someone else.

  • lol, nice play by Louis.

  • Ava’s a pain in the ass, I swear to god I wish she WOULD get put in jail.

  • Damn, Gianopolous is good. And he wasn’t even there.

  • Damn it, stop getting along!!!

  • Damn Donna. Why do I keep staying Damn?

  • Well Donna now you see why talking like that all the freaking time can get confusing.

  • Crap, here we go.

  • Agreed Donna, hurray Kilts!

  • He is pretty damn good.

  • Smartest thing he’s done, lucky bastard. That dinner with DDL made her panties drop faster than…I don’t even have a good metaphor, that’s how fast.

  • Oh fuck, that changes things in the case.

  • And now Louis is the one between a rock and a hard place. But this might be the one thing that actually sends him to Harvey’s side to take down Jessica.

  • :’( Why can’t we see half naked Donna?

  • Wow, Donna forgot about Harvey…that’s a first.

  • Welp, shit has hit the fan yet again.

  • Huh, I figured doing it there might backfire, but I guess not.

  • And they’re out of one war and entered another one…brilliant.

– I’ll give them credit, they did a good job with Ava’s speech to make her not seem like the damn devil. Idk if it was SO good that it literally got everyone to believe her innocence immediately but it was good nonetheless. Mike and Katrina on the same side confuses and disturbs me. And damn it, I want half-naked Donna![/details]

How funny would it be if it turned out that Ava really did have those people killed…she seemed to convince them to easily.

I remember they kept saying something to the affect of she’s cold enough to do it.

They’re also very good at seeing through lies so for four people, 3 of whom are not so easily swayed (sorry Mike) and all of whom were EXPECTING her to lie her ass off, to switch their opinion afterwards is telling. Though, in terms of actual analysis of the episode, I don’t think the speech was so good that it would pull that off.

And even if she did kill them it wouldn’t really matter now. She’s already lost her company.

So mad at the show for playing donna like that.

Suits - S3 04

Spoiler

Opening scene was good, with the back-and-forth between Mike and Katrina being fun to see besides Harvey/Louis stuffs.

The break room… where the office/firm girls look their best?
Nice dress, Donna.
Here’s Huntley to work his charm… on Rachel?
Donna with the logic explanation on the Huntley’s flirtation.
Yes, Rachel. You are “second prettiest.” lol.

Katrina ‘duty’ sounds interesting. Though it’s likely a way for both groups to keep tabs on the other through a proxy.
Mike (to Harvey) is like, "I don’t want do this."
Katrina (to Louis) is like, “I’m down for whatever.”

Copy room meeting between Donna and Huntley.
The sexual tension is strong…

Mike and Katrina -1
They actually seem to work well together, work-wise.
Quotables banter between them… Ooohhh.

Katrina mentioning that the idea was Mike’s to Louis was interesting to see, as was the likely play for the Tony G. meeting.
Here’s Harvey. He mad about something.
Oh, shit… Louis doing work!
Damn… Harvey got “Litt Up.” And the confirmation from Katrina as well.
Great scene for ‘Team Litt.’ I marked out when it happened, lol.

Here we go, Louis.
Good start with the card/hand drop by Louis, but Tony G’s guy was like "Nope."
Dude’s comeback was strong with the bit about investment bankers vs lawyers. He even name-dropped Wharton to Louis’ Harvard.

Mike and Katrina -2
A truce?
Both parties are cool with each other now.

Looking hella good there, Donna.
Nothing but suggestive banter and double entendre between Donna and Huntley, lol.

Huntley going the extra mile with the after-dinner with one Daniel Day-Lewis.
Donna with the audible for skipping that evening’s date activities, and Huntley responding with “Taxi” (Check, please).

Practice prep for cross examination stuffs.
Ava with the info drop changes POVs on the case.
Louis making a play after the meeting he had with Jessica regarding the case, with a board member for Hessington Oil.
But, wait… conflict
With the new POV on Ava (from, Mike and Katrina - Interlude), Louis has second thoughts, but Jessica is like IDGAF and get this shit done.

Donna had a good time last night, lol.
What about Harvey, indeed?
Apparently, Harvey isn’t pleased that Donna is doing work with Huntley…

Ava is out.
Harvey is mad about how things happened (behind his back) and takes things up with Jessica.
Merger politics and personal standing come into play (51-Darby, 49-Jessica).

Mike and Katrina - 3
Mutual respect between the two of them, regardless of who they work for.
The work-related interaction between the two of them was nice to see though. Maybe more of it in the future?
Yes, Mike. Watch as Katrina walk away from you…
Rachel somewhat jelly of Katrina (work-stuffs, bonding), but the ‘couple’ confirms their feelings for each other.
What about Bunk, though? lol.

Here’s Darby to call out Jessica on the behind-the-back stuffs.
lol @ Jessica to use the earlier experience of her visit with Darby and flip it on him.
Jessica is like, “I got work done and I made some money, too!”

The lines of things being business and personal are slowly coming to the forefront.

good episode. donna gave me a raging boner. the makeup on donnas back was weird though. like her freckles created like a dark patch. lol. i liked how she wanted to get all school girl with harvey, and hes like i dont care what youre saying, why are you not doing your job, then she had to go sit her weak ass down and be sad. my nigga harvey! if mike ross fucks it up with rachel by getting his freak on with the blonde chick, imma have to slap his teeth out. haha. although im actually in love with blondey. i got hard for her when she was completely broken, and now making her way back. even though shes still a snake. lol im horny for broken women.

im cringing for when jessica finds out what harvey is doing. i really enjoyed their mother son relationship during the better times. :frowning:

Yeah, the better times but that’s over. She’s making a business out of burning a ton of bridges. After this Ava crap, Louis could definitely go to Harvey’s side on this shit.

I have to admit the show does a good job of balancing serious interpersonal/ legal issues, and Psych-like banter.

Blondie with her pornstar looks is one huge plot ploy for Mike. I don’t think Mike is dumb enough to do anything stupid, but Katrina will definitely put him into a “precarious position”.

The fluctuating relationships between the power players: Jessica, Darby, Louis, and Harvey are convincing. The same characteristics that pushed them to the top are the same ones that make them duplicitous and egotistical.

That said, I’m disappointed that this ep, while great, sadly didn’t end with Donna in lingerie.

They owe us next week. The dream of half-naked Donna is within our grasp!

I was thrown for a loop with the back and forth on Mike and Katrina’s end.

Sheeeeit indeed…

And Donna? Donna can’t resist the pimp-shit Stephen’s on, but I’m sure she’ll see through his schemes eventually. Of course that’s assuming her thing with him doesn’t create a huge rift between her and Harvey that needs repairing for most of the season. Donna needs a nude or bikini scene, and a long embrace between her and Rachel at the same time.

Seen the latest episode, Katrina’a is so fuckin fine it hurts. The plot for this season is getting muddier and muddier

Watch Harvey get all emotional when he finds out Donna fuckin his British counterpart.

EDIT: oh yeah Mike and Katrina’s Wire homage scene was so damn weak. She made me cringe.

[details=Spoiler]Ah, my favorite part of the week. More Suits.

  • Half naked Donna, FINALLY. We didn’t get much of it but I’ll take it.

  • Damn that mustache.

  • Louis, right on time.

  • Stephen owes you Louis. Big fruit basket.

  • Grr…give Louis the associates back, Nigel’s ruining them.

  • Nice to see Darby doesn’t take that bullshit lightly.

  • Welp, that was abrupt.

  • Rachel, you suck at keeping secrets, I’d be sweating if I was Mike.

  • Mike, stop talking in the 3rd person. And congrats Mike, now she’s lording sex over you.

  • Outside Mud? THAT BASTARD!

  • Whoop his ass Louis, PLEASE! Harvey will teach you how to do it.

  • I know you wanted to prove a point but, man, 50 Gs? Why you gotta burn that?

  • We’ve proven you’re not great at lying Rachel.

  • See Donna, simple.

  • Man, she really would make a good lawyer. However she’s softer than Mike, might be an issue.

  • NIGEL!!!

  • Using a cat to avoid an asswhooping? Grrrrrr…

  • So you’re saying you’re a pussy whisperer Louis?

  • First Jessica appearance 30 minutes in.

  • And she wastes no time going bitchy.

  • …Gianopolous…he’s really good and REALLY spiteful.

  • Well hopefully Mike got on Rachel’s dad good side back when they were working together.

  • Well done Mike. You got on his good side, but probably locked yourself out of sex.

  • Uh, Stephen, WTF?!?!

  • Jessica, the last time she took care of Ava, shit hit the fan.

  • Oh the irony, Rachel was worried about Mike getting found out when SHE’S the one that got busted.

  • Ouch, screw you Stenton.

  • Stephen you’re fine, she’s weak to you like Fire is to Water.

  • Oh look, more bumps in Paradise.

  • Pissed off Rachel, no longer soft.

  • Finally cornered Cameron for once.

  • Damn Louis you’re easy.

  • Man, Cameron is HELLA Spiteful.

  • Great, another close to home moment.

  • Well said Stephen.

  • No kidding it’s not a tea set.

  • Interesting move Jessica…interesting move…

– Well, we got half naked Donna so this episode was already great. I just hope that we can FINALLY move on from the goddamn Hessington case. I mean holy shit it’s been a pain in the ass. Seeing Mike and Rachel do a different catch was such a damn relief. But again, she’d make a good lawyer. Next week we get another Flashback episode and it seems we finally see if Donna and Harvey actually did or didn’t do something. If it’s yes…things became a lot more interesting when it comes to Huntley.[/details]

I love this show. Don’t know how I feel about next week’s episode though. It’ll break up the flow of the current plots.

The last flashback episode worked due to giving us more reason to hate Hardman and more background on the current situation. The problem tends to be that Mike does not fit in at all with these since he has no ties to Pearson Hardman/Darby before Episode 1. So his presence ends up slowing down the episode and its ties.
