Yata is dead because devs kinda dropped support (they never even added rollback netcode IIRC), UNIEL was dead from day 2 on PC but you might be able to find players by searching on Discord. I can give you the link to a pretty big server if you want.
yeah, i guess without to going into the discourd groups and stuff you wont find many random people online.
but at the end its a 1v1 game so maybe you wanna give them a try?
i would…woudnt they have advertised the game with ggpo netcode which at the end never made it into the game.
still waiting for it before i consider the purchase.
thats why you dont promise something you cant handle out…so they did a capcom.
I’m starting to question whether Season 2 is in anyway an improvement to the meta of Season 1. Yeah it’s still early days but fighting the new top tier bandwagoners is making me feel dumb. Ryu’s j.LK and Nash’s dash was BS but at least you got to engage in a back and forth in those matches before a victor emerged.
The Urien/Rog army right now is just straight up bad. Silver rank players who can’t even space rush punch have now been boosted to gold and just get wins by getting beat up so they can activate X-factor, and it’s GG if you face a player who actually CAN play Urien/Rog and still has that X-factor in the pocket.
Yatagarasu its UI was something a programmer made, functional but very unintuitive. Joining people where you had to find their lobby was unnecessarily difficult, a lot of problems for me where it was impossible to join certain people for no apparant reason. I tried dozens of solutions to no end. Its gameplay was really enjoyable, it was a solid mix between SF and KOF but like i said the almost non-functional UI and Online made it unplayable for me. A VERY niche FG with a terrible launch made it doomed to ever be successful.
What you say requires 15 minutes requires a lot more than 15 minutes, and is in no way fun and I have no way of knowing where to even start.
Last time I tried something like this (to get ggpo) I was all like “ok let’s do this, let’s learn this shit” so I backtracked and reverse engineered shit… but every question I came up on lead me to even more questions, that lead to more questions and so I was like man fuck this noise.
In th end I hired a high school kid from down the street to put in ggpo since he was also a player on srk. Well he took 40 minutes to do it, had to backtrack several times to figure out what was wrong here and there and looked like he was programming quantum theorems into the damn thing. I watched him do it and had no idea wtf was going on.
Even he got confused and he grew up with computers. I have no chance outside dedicating huge amounts of time or taking a computer technology class to learn things from the ground up.
Things that you take for granted are things that I literally don’t know. Things like simple computer terminology and vocabulary, and just learning that takes more than 15 minutes.
