today i learned that the “another fight is coming your way” and the vs screen dont do any loading… it literally just wastes youre fucking time showing you nothing…
I’d love to play yata or uniel or koihime enbu or GG or arcana heart or melts blood or BB… but when they all have shit NetCode it’s basically why bother if you aren’t a teenager or have a family you need to spend time with. I can’t get out and play at the locals that much. It basically has to be online and have good online.
That’s the only reason I’ve stuck with sfv. Believe me if any of those games I listed had good NetCode like ggpo, then I’d be playing those and just making fun of 5 from a distance.
That’s actually pretty awesome if it has good NetCode. It’s new to me so there will be things to learn and I’ve always loved the idea of reverse beat when it was explained to me.
Now all I have to do is figure out wtf CCCaster is and how my computer illiterate can’t even get fightcade up and running ass… can get it.
He just wants an official netcode, no bull shit program that you have to download, usually those programs have like zero players online. (but props to the people go out of their way to even make them possible, or an option)
Just looked up a thread for rollback melty blood. No way in hell im going to be able to do even a tenth of the stuff that is required to do to get that game up and running/troubleshot and working.
I do think theyre both bad but ken has more going for him. Mostly in his offense.
Better jump ins, a crush counter poke, combo overhead, and his v trigger aides his gameplan, throw loops. He has some tricks. Ken can actually have a functional plan that works in a few matches.
Ryu is just kinda there. Not really good at anything.
Fun fact: it was actually slated for release on PS4, XB1 and Vita titled “Legend of Raven” and published by Nicalis. It never got released, and its not like anyone would care anyway, since it wouldn’t have the Attack on Cataclysm characters
I figured there are exceptions to this (Capcom doesn’t like consistency) but I haven’t checked all of 'em. Chun, Ryu and Ken have this property on their EX Fireballs at least.
