The Street Fighter V Lounge: We all gotta chill 'til the end of April

Thank you both OceanMachine and NCK_Feroce

…wait, but I was the first one to provide an answer…

um, i dont think ken is fine at all. he has to be defensive without the buttons to do so. hado is supposed to compensate for that because it’s ass.

I never understand why ppl say ryu is bad but ken isn’t. ryu has better buttons, ken has better oki. ryu has a better trigger…kens trigger is kinda meh for a 3 bar trigger.

the overhead buff is cool. but good luck using it anywhere outside of the corner.

The Eventhubs comments on the uncapped frame-rate mod (towards UI visuals) at the character select screen has to be some of the worst things I’ve heard. Avoid it if you don’t want to lose any more brain cells.

In the comments, not only do some of the people there like and support the long loading times that SFV currently provides, there are also people quick on calling PC users “cheaters,” which makes no sense when it doesn’t affect anything towards the gameplay.

If they don’t want to be left behind and actually accept these design flaws as something intentional, well they sure are doing a good job at it.

UNIEL looks so fucking fun

also: when’s top 8 for sf

For the people who don’t like street fighter 5 just do what i did.

Stopped playing altogether while occasionally watching a tourney stream. Had a long discussion with my friends about why i play street fighter in general and came to the conclusion that this game is simply not a game that i enjoy playing.

Just play something else. Because playing something that drives you to try and murder the battle director every time you boot it up is detrimental for your long term health.

Uncharted 1 to 4 here i come.

anyone confirm why this is?

UNIEL is very fun. I heard terrible things about the PC version’s netcode, however. PS3 is also pretty dead, there’s one lobby rarely open; but there’s nobody in it. Fuck Gordeau, and Merkava, too.

UNIEL is fun, but then you realize the Japanese problem takes in effect. We still don’t have “ST” version for consoles/PC.

Netcode is okay, but it’s the same situation with SFV where I had to cherry pick some players. It also had an annoying bug early in the game where opening Steam UI to chat AND typing stuff when messaging people would act up in-game, and may even resort to you in quitting the match. They fixed it later though, but I got out of the game’s loop by that time because of a mix of the lacking community + lack of an updated version.

Is it even out on consoles over there?

i dont think he can absorb multi hit fireballs.

Sorry I didn’t see your post. Thank you as well LordWiliam1234

Nope lol.

Either way, if it’s out on consoles over there, you might as well say it’s out over here to the competitive players.

Multi-hit projectiles are flagged to be unable to be absorbed by something like Nash’s V-skill. This stays true regardless of the number of hits the projectile has.

Nash can’t absorb Ryu or Ken’s EX fireballs either even if they’ve already had one hit taken away.

We should of backed Yatagarasu when we had the chance.

You know you’re in for a real treat when the game matches you with someone called Mr. Sodium, has “Cocky” set as his title, and he uses Guile.

Yatagarasu was dead the moment it went Steam-only

What’s the current state of that game anyways?

Figured. Just so long as the buff Chaos I’ll be happy. I really like playing as him.

Probably beyond dead at this point. Can’t check Steam right now. The game had some really really dope character designs. I still have it on my HD somewhere I think
