backroll resetting to neutral is still a very significant weakness in a game heavily focused on momentum. if you’re only slowing him down for “very few moments” after resetting to neutral… it’s because he’s beating you in neutral
when good buttons and a meh divekick are the only interesting thing about her… yeah that’s a pretty piss boring character IMO.
besides there are other characters with good buttons who aren’t dull as dirt.
I think I’m slowly shifting over more to Gief than Bison. As satisfying as CC roundhouse is and as bullshit as EX reverse is even after the nerf, there’s just something almost orgasmic about scaring a nigga so badly he puts himself in the corner.

Everyone thinks their character isn’t good. Or that their character is “fair”. Whatever that means.
You can find flaws in nearly every character, but it isn’t enough justification to say they’re not good. Some people just have an issue admitting that they’re playing a good character.
Played Cammy for the first time since release day yesterday and managed to have way more success with her than with my level 47 Juri. It’s kinda ridiculous how easy everyone (except maybe FANG) is compared to Juri. Yeah, maybe she’s balanced. If the game is played by robots.
I’ve never said Cammy isn’t good but cammy doesn’t really have a reliable mix up. Cammy trying to play ST with an extra layer in shimmies. Other than she is gonna meaty you and then either do a frame trap or a throw.
Half the battle against Cammy is basically not panicking. A lot of people panick though.

I think so too. I feel like the characters I struggle against with one are often easier with the other. Except Rashid, but I’ve always had issues with him. It just feels like he’s safe after everything.

I like playing footsies. I don’t have a yolo playstyle. Cammy is still boring.
The cure for autopiloting is to play a new character for a bit.
Gets the brain looking for new patterns, and when you go back to your main your old patterns aren’t so rote anymore.

That’s exactly why I enjoy Cammy. She has a pretty straightforward gameplan. I played Rose in SF4, so frame traps are what I enjoy most.
I’ve been playing around with her Hooligan~Cannon Strike stuff up close to throw off the opponent. Not always effective, but it’s fun to experiment with. What’s your most annoying matchup?
Although I’m not Pertho. I’m a Cammy main and I absolutely hate the Laura match up. 2nd worst is Balrog and Urien. 3rd would be Zangief.
Chun is solid. Unfortunately solid doesn’t account for much. If you aren’t doing Rog/Urien shit then your character is assumed trash.
Ibuki is crazy. Really need to start labbing things with her. The few things I learned I liked a lot.
And KBrad says Cammy is honest. Hell, he said she was honest in S1.
