BUTTONZ

Some uncouth savage posted something similar in GD

Thought process when playing sf5 and winning: "Wow i played like a complete retarded brain damaged jack ass and still managed to get the win.

Tought process when playing sf5 with the mentality that bad habits like random jump ins are bad and playing footsies is a thing which leads to you losing: “Wow i should punch combofiend and ono in the face”

Man i sure love this game

Today is @Twinblades birthday?!?!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY NIGGGAAAA!!!

Wait, was your birthday yesterday? NOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Must…

Not…

Fap…

Learned the basics of anti airing and kept AAing people on my way to super silver like there was no tomorrow. Now I fight Gold players who know how to space a jump in and I get so fucked. At least something clicked and I’ve been AAing with chp and EX knee. Also, EX knee’d a Cammy’s EX dive kick. Shit was so cool.

There’s a difference between playing patiently and literally sitting and waiting. Most characters in this game want to move forward and rush down their opponent, but you’ll still have to play patiently in neutral until you find the right opportunity (assuming your opponent is solid).

That said, some characters can YOLO more effectively than others. Mika is not super great at it since she has limited mobility and good players will react to drop kick. You might have more fun with Ken, Rashid, or Ibuki IMO.

That’s interesting. What character do you play?

When I lose it’s usually: “damn, I pressed buttons when I shouldn’t have”

When I win I feel it’s because I was patient

But maybe that’s because I play Sim.

@“Spinning Beat”

Thanks man!

So I have a question about wake up super.

I’m asking this question not having studied the FD so bare with me.

>fighting @Gabri3l_WHOA
>mp mp spiral arrow
>dash in for a throw
>press the throw input
>Alex does wake up super
>I block the move
>Alex is dead

But here’s the thing, I know I pressed throw so his Super should have clipped me. So why didn’t it? Is the start up throws really shit?

I know my throw comes out because [Reversal] Pops up.

Ranked is cancer.

Who wants to Battle Lounge?

According to my frame data Alex’s CA has no invincibility whatsoever. Feelsbadman

(alex players correct me if I’m wrong)

Alex CA has invincibility. I used it a few times to win matches.

damn now I can’t trust toolassisted’s frame data anymore

is there another reliable source of frame data that lists iframes?

That wasn’t your reversal message , that was his. His super cancelled your input just in time by the sounds of it.

I just beat two Diamond ranked players using Cammy and I’ve never used the character before. Such an easy mode character. Why am I using Vega again?

Because if you don’t whine and bitch your body could possibly go into shock.

(buff Vega)

That’s what I was figuring what was happening I know v-trigger eats inputs so I had a feeling that the super was also eating my throw input as well.

@Gabri3l_WHOA stop doing wake up super!!!
