I also heard that a deciding factor for Capcom is the origin of the character. But seeing all the American characters we already have in the game itâs probably not that big of a factor compared to gameplay and popularity.
Gameplay styles that SF5 needs?
A rekka character wouldnât hurt.
I think if we see a grappler in S2, another big grappler like Hugo would be good. But I agree, there are a lot of grapplers already, would be fine for me if they donât add another one in S2.
I personally would like to see Drunken Boxing and Capoeira in the game.
Eagle would be dope because, as a weapon user, his normals have crazy range without hurtboxes at the end. This makes max-distance counterpokes like Chunâs b.HP much less effective and lets him force footsies on the opponent. While other weapons work too, Eagle is probably the best pick within the series after Vega, maybe some of the dolls. Eagleâs worst match up in CvS2 was against the system itself because using roll/dodge/parry/just defend well could light him up. In a game where only a few characters have those mechanics, he would absolutely dominate.
Didnât you hear Combofiend? In a world of games with left right mix ups and chains into constant safe pressure that needs 5 subsystems to maybe escape, this is the honest alternative. This is Honest Fighter V. Where everything is done up front.
I think Akuma without a doubt is going to be in this game next year, heâs too popular not to, and him being in " Tekken 7 " just isnât enough reason for him not to be. Get used to a top tier Akuma, heâs coming.
I can see it now, a trailer showing a glowing red eye, him saying âShush!â
