Sure, but Justinā€™s strong footsies game isnā€™t enough to carry him anymore. Whiffing normals is more punishable with the input lag decrease and everyone is starting to understand that matchup more. He looked old and outclassed vs kbrad and without optimizing combos and using the OS tech is catching up to him.

Spending all his meter on command dashes hurts his chance at bigger damage combos so that adjustment needs to go

Perhaps but honestly, Du was in control the ENTIRE match. All of Wongā€™s chances was some clutch moments and not really " outplaying " Du. I like Justin but it is impossible not to root for Guile.

Justin was pretty sloppy at times(especially the last round), but I donā€™t think matches that literally come down to the last round is huge evidence of getting completely outplayed. Nuki vs Oliver Queen is an example of supreme dominance and outplaying. I donā€™t think Du vs Wong was anywhere near that dominating.

I donā€™t know enough about Guile, but it sure didnā€™t look that way. He looks like a character that forces her to run her anti projectile options which carry a lot of risk to them. Any character that can force Karin out of her walk around and press buttons meta sounds good to me.
