Chuns canât really be combod into outside of VERY DEEP heavy jumpins iirc, or through v trigger pop. But v trigger pop totally kills the entire point since she canât make v trigger while in v trigger state.
But then they make it ridiculously unsafe on block as well. Itâs like they said⌠Ok letâs make this move monkey nuts. At least it could have had some projectile invincibility on the way up as they said it was for her to have a better alternative way around fireballs other than jumping. But with 11 frames of startup she basically has to do it damn near before the fireball comes out.
Here I thought we were getting game changer moves and yet, nope.

Ken does a Zenpo Tenshin style flip over the opponent then shoves a flaming shoryuken right up their ass like Kakashiâs 1000 years of death and sends them flying across the screen. EX Version bounces victim off the wall for juggle opportunities and the regular version can be super canceled on the last hit.

Yeah it shouldâve been taken out, and they shouldâve explored this whole stance shtick further. We couldâve ended up with two very different stances like Gen with unique normals, specials, CAs and other properties. Itâs a wasted opportunity.

it also does 2-3 times more damage than any of those fireballs and can also combo into super from full screen

If Gen is added to the game he should lose one of his stances if he gets hit too much too. They could make it so if he takes too many hits one of his arms get broken so he canât go into crane stance anymore.
