I’m pretty sure you have as many issues with both, but you focus only on the PS4 side only because you decided crossplay is bad to begin with. It’s like the console players who say PC players are cheaters when they have at least as many on their side.
I dismissed him as soon as I saw him. Thought he didn’t look fun at all. Didn’t like anything about him.

nope…i looked forward to crossplay and i thought its a great thing when they anounced it.
the way how its working out in sfv is that i am against it right now…at least when its handled the same ways as in sf5.
thats why i am not looking forward for it to be implemented in other titles or demand it as you do…different experiences forms different opinions.
i dont have win 10 on my gaming pc and with that did not played ki. maybe its working great there and would let me be more open about that topic but as of now i would rather be in the pc only with more good connections boat then having crossplay which might turn out as in sfV.
and no i dont focus on ps4 people only .
i even made a list once for myself with notes for
good-aka-perfect match/ok-aka-little rollbacks/bad-aka-unplayable
connection for matches against pc and ps4 guys so that i dont judge based on a “feeling” but on facts.
he ps4 matches where the ones in which i had the majority of bad and “ok” matches.

reason why i rant now was exact the same situation. got into ranked for the 10 matches.
first two guys…ps4 people…unplayable warping issues…third guy, pc…perfect match.
i got later on some ps4 guys where it was ok but never really good.

everyone here should do such a list…make it 50 different opponents to get a better overview.

Yea I don’t think the bang v tager matchup was as bad as 7-3, but tager was a pretty terrible character in general. Most of his blockstrings in CT were easy to escape if you would just instant block them. He is kind of like sfv zangief. He has to make really hard reads. Only difference was tager could do some nasty damage if he actually hit you. If tager caught you with super after you already used your burst, it probably took away about 75% of your health lol.
I do miss the loops bang got on tager if he caught him standing and had his ninpo scrolls out or had furinkanzan active. That shit was too much fun.
First of all, you’re not forced to play PS4 opponents. You have the choice to exclude them from all your online activies if it isn’t working out for you. So the presence of crossplay can’t harm your own experience, it’s just an additional feature that is given to everyone.
And second, the main reason PS4 opponents can be bad is because many of them play on wifi. But this usually causes occasional lag spikes, not overall bad matches. There is nothing inherent to the console to PC connection that makes the lag worse, especially with UE4 that natively supports cross-platform multiplayer.
From what I know KI crossplay is working fine. The game is a pain in the ass to configure on Windows but that’s another story.
of course it does harm me when i set it to pc only.
crossplay means i have to share the pc community with the ps4 people.
that means i have to wait much longer to get a pc guy now then without crossplay.
when it would work without any issues crossplay would be a great thing since you have much more opponents…in this case…you either suck it up and play against ps4 people with a high risk to get a bad match no matter what the bars say or you wait more then you play in ranked/casuals by setting it to pc only.
i dont count “occasional” lag spikes rounds as good matches. maybe you are used to it when your opponent warps back and forth and skips his jump/dash animation and thats fine.
for me its not a good match, especially when the game try to sell me that experience as a 5bar connection.
best example was a guy on the ragequit forum who said he had always good matches and posted a video of him…full of rollbacks…some people are just used to it.
so you even say a lot of ps4 guys play on wifi…is it then a surprise that i get more good matches against the pc crowd?

I dunno. I’ve never understood dressing in something one doesn’t like or one doesn’t find comfortable just to appeal to another person. I care more about how well she’s doing, not how she’s dressed.
