Bit of a c u n t move to knock someone down when they’re actively contributing, I don’t see him giving any information towards the character. I have room for hypocrisy here because I take the piss out of some dude in the Alex forum who posts the funniest tech videos.

Regardless of what one thinks about Juri, I think the dude with 8 posts in 5 years was being a real asshole there. There’s no point in calling out someone that didn’t post in 3 pages just because he wasn’t being as tragic as 95% of the other people in the thread.

Let me just say when someone flames me on a forum I don’t respond unless there’s something to be gained from the conversation. Whether or not this guy is right (I don’t know, I don’t read FSE’s posts there) he’s being kind of a shithead so there’s no real reason to answer him.
I know I will catch flak for it, but outside the FADC safe on block bullshit and focus attacks; I enjoyed SF4. I liked that the cast had a large variety of play-styles for when I wanted to zone, rush people down, or try my hand at mid-range footsies. That is one thing I find sorely lacking in SFV.

to either safe your bars for your super or use it for the escape options without to rely on ultras.
sf5´s easy way to combo into sf4 without ultras > sf5
I don’t really look at Ultras as the rubberbanding mechanic most people do, I just tend to look at them as Supers that don’t require a resource.
Sure, you have to take damage or focus to get one, but in a reasonably even round it’s more or less an inevitability that both players will have it. If you get hit with an Ultra you’ll have an ultra yourself immediately afterwards in almost every case, so it’s not even a big deal if you’re in the lead.
I understand why it’s philosophically annoying but in real life it was hardly ever the big issue people seemed to think it was.
SF4’s big problem to me was ironically its balance. People said it was a balanced game but I’d argue that the bottom half of the cast was pretty worthless at high levels of play. But at least it had strategic diversity and good, satisfying buttons.
Sf4 was fun. I find some of my issues with the game looking back are the invincible back dashes, and fadc shenanigans. I think the game is definitely different from 5 as the focus attack system definitely shaped the game in its long run.

in my eyes its just a bad comeback mechanic which rewards people for being beaten up.
in 5 you have the no chip kill approach which in my eyes is the better approach of a comeback mechanic…well, when they wouldnt have made ca chipkill you
which will hopefully change in the future.
