The Street Fighter V Lounge - McRibs for the good, The Purge of 2016 for the bad

fuck Snake Eyez if he cant adapt to a new Gief. seriously deal with it. if he cant then switch mains.

She was, then they kawaiified her. Fuck that.

Give the guy a break, as I’m sure he wants to relay information to the community but his position of power has him feeding off of whatever the higher-ups at Capcom give to him. He seems genuine in his attempt to try to communicate, I just doubt Capcom are giving the guy anything worthwhile to tell the community.

Precisely.

I honestly don’t understand the hostility toward SFV from so many people. I get these dudes are top players but really if the game is that unimpressive to you then why play it. I personally always found SFV just to be ok and I prefer playing other fighting games over it so as a result that’s exactly what I did. If you don’t like something just don’t plah it, it’s getting annoying to hear how much SFV sucks.

He’s definitely an 09er. I played vanilla BB with him at seasons beatings when his tag was “scrub”

Because the CPT exists and the money is the biggest you will get for playing a fighting game. Put that kind of money into another fighting game, people will play it. KI, MKX, GG and other games have been doing the same but not on such a huge scale.

I get what you mean tbh, Haunts just seems like a normal dude trying to people please. People are gonna get sick of the vague replies soon.

I’m late, I think the Ken modded face needs to add more cocky personality. This one is like he had a sad life.

And I am PC user, so I won’t be looking forward to Injustice 2…

Same, and if Juri is the next character and comes out in November after Ibuki, I probably won’t be playing SF5 the rest of 2016.

Balrog is next. Bros before hoes.

There really isn’t much in that interview that suggests her being next… we all know she’s coming at some point and “later” doesn’t necessarily equal next, he likely just gave a shoutout because the site is Korean and stuff. I’d love it if she was next, but I’m not giving my hopes up since the roadmap order is pretty much on point.

Not that I bother too much with the wait anyways… Overwatch can keep me busy until I go back full force to SFV. She will be awesome in the game anyways.

youg_balrog died for our sins. We chose ibuki over boxer; barabbas over jesus.
but he will come back. he will rise from the valley of rage quitters to save us all once again

Whatever, Ono is just saying that to throw people off.

Almost forgot. 2-3 weeks left guys.

I see a lot of the cool shit that characters in GG can do and I’m wondering “Why doesn’t Street Fighter have characters like that”.

are the servers down in SFV? i haven’t been able to even log in since last night?

Because if they did, it wouldn’t be Street Fighter (in my opinion).

“In Injustice 2, we are introducing new features that will change the way fans play fighting games,” said Ed Boon, Creative Director, NetherRealm Studios. “We’re always interested in pushing the genre forward and allowing players to customize and level-up their favorite DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains is a significant leap.”

“Expanding the DC Universe in games continues to be one of our top priorities, and Injustice 2 showcases amazing gameplay and an original story to bring the characters to life for players,” said David Haddad, President, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. “NetherRealm Studios is offering fans an experience of customizing and battling with DC’s iconic characters in an entirely new way.”

Injustice 2 offers the latest DC fighting game experience that expands on the previous title’s larger-than-life showdowns. Every battle defines you in a game where players personalize iconic DC characters with unique and powerful gear earned throughout the game. For the first time gamers can take control of how their characters look, fight and develop across a variety of game modes.

Injustice 2 continues the epic cinematic story introduced in Injustice: Gods Among Us as Batman and his allies work towards putting the pieces of society back together while struggling against those who want to restore Superman’s regime. In the midst of the chaos, a new threat appears that will put Earth’s existence at risk. Players can play from the biggest DC roster ever offered in a fighting game, from classic fan favorites such as Batman, Superman, Supergirl and Aquaman, to astonishing new villains like Atrocitus and Gorilla Grodd. Battles will take place across arenas that have evolved in scale and span across iconic locations such as Metropolis, Gotham City and Atlantis.

To celebrate the announcement of Injustice 2, fans who have downloaded the hugely successful Injustice: Gods Among Us mobile game can unlock the Injustice 2 versions of Superman and Aquaman through the in-game Challenge Modes. Released in 2013 and developed from the ground up by NetherRealm Studios, the Injustice: Gods Among Us mobile game is available as a free download on the App Store and Google Play.

Level up characters sounds terrible for a fighter.

Hopefully it’s not as shitty as it sounds

yeah- i agree …sounds like NRS’s SFxTekken

As told by Tyler Landsown on the PS Blog :

But we didn’t want to stop there. At NetherRealm, we always want to make games that are fun, challenging and innovative. We strive to give players a level of control that makes playing our games a truly personal experience. For that reason, we have introduced a brand new Gear System, allowing players to build their own version of Superman, their Batman and ultimately, their Injustice Universe.

The Gear System uses RPG-like mechanics to reward you with loot drops every time you play the game. With each loot drop, you will earn character-specific gear to outfit and power up your roster – changing not only the look of each character, but your fight strategy and your personal approach to every match. As you gear up your characters, you’re building a roster of DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains that reflects your choices, and your preferences, which can be vastly different than your opponents. A few play sessions in, you can expect your Aquaman to look and play different than anyone else’s Aquaman you may come across
