I have no clue how should story mode look like in fighting games. Everything I played so far was kinda meh for me. I would just go through it on easy mode to see story of my main and forget about it forever.
How did people like injustice story? I got non fgc friend who had awesome time with it( all char stories), but he is kinda guy that cares about lore and stuff in games he plays
I personally really loved the Snow maps. I found alot of success using the MGs on the confrontation maps, sniping was good shit, and throwing nades over walls to kill groups of people was the best shit ever.
When I saw the servers were going down I had a mini breakdown snd played that shit for weeks before it went down.
Isn’t that Square shit old? I forgot what the collab was for, but I don’t recall it having anything to do with the story.
So make story mode an action adventure game. Hell, just make FG’s two discs. One for the Fighting, one for the story. Make it cost double the price however or near there to compensate. Then you could do alot with that. Sure it’d cost a shiny dime but if done right…the quality would be awesome I reckon.

Corny dialogue and atrocious writing. A waste of time and resources for Capcom that could have been better spent on developing more meaningful aspects of the game and product offering.
I do hope it offers an Alpha 3 ‘World Tour’-esque mode that takes advantage of the decent AI the game showcases in training mode, but my expectations are still pretty low.
By ‘low’ I mean zero.
I said world tour mode was the only single player experience I wanted and got laughed at pre release.

However everyone wanted Zipper back on Socom so fuck all the Socom confrontation hating ass niggas who wanted Zipper back. I’ll always love Zipper for M.A.G though… on that note fuck CCP and everyone involved for Dust514.
I’ll love zipper forever for socom 1-3 however I seen the writings on the wall, they were no longer interested in providing a socom experience.

Pretty much that if I was playing with my clan or light with an auto shotgun if the map allowed. I really loved confrontation. Extended crossroads was the shit and urban wasteland (the one with the yellow building niggas used to snipe from) wee some of the best multiplayer maps ever designed.

Any guys you see think about coming back for H-Hour, assuming that ever releases? Never had as much fun in a team game or 3rdPS as confrontation (excluding M.A.G). Made me hella sad as a kid when I saw niggas were hating on it on the forums because it wasn’t Socom1-3 or made by Zipper. You don’t really get how good something is till it’s shut down.

On a related note watching Socom confrontation slowly die because of jailbroken PS3s really ruined playing it everyday for me. You could not play a solid set against randoms anymore without one salty nigga freezing everyones shit. And clans on where on elitist shit which is why I ended up leaving mines (S3T and Ez8 among a few others).

One guy I knew was involved in the kickstarter, gave like 100 bucks or something and was pretty active in that game until about Feb or so. Apparently they have ran out of funding and the game is a big piece of dog shit. They opened up the steam workshop so the community is making desert glory and all the classic maps but from what he told me it didn’t feel like socom because it was so broken. They completely changed the direction of the game mid development, switched to Unreal 4 and ran out of money even though they reached the goal to have a playstation 4 beta version. So yea fuck kickstarters.

Ranked should give you some type of multiplier for win streaks. No point in showing them if they aren’t going to do anything for a score. Similarly if somebody stops a win streak, they should get additional points based on the number of games that person had won.

How bout a win streak cap? Win 3+ games in a row earn 1.5x the EXP,FM,and LP. 5+ wins 2x, and 10+ 3x. Meanwhile, if you end someones streak you get what your regular amount would be (streak bonus and all) + their streak bonus.
It’d provide some incentive to keep playing online. Either to build your own winstreak, or hunt niggas down with their own streaks.
The RQ for something like that would be biblical
