It was a nice try but nope. I do understand that people are into collecting jpgs of cartoon ponies with anatomically correct genitals so if you want to defend that that’s up to you.
And it’s back to how things were before the other thread got closed. Undava…I think everyone should stop posting in this thread until an announcement is made.
A friend once told me I post a little too much on Facebook (about one or 2 posts a week) and I told him yeah we should all stop posting and sharing anything so we can all log in to Facebook and stare at an empty screen.
I dont know the the current thoughts are at the minute with character strengths, but I’ve sort of jigged my thoughts a bit.
I think Ken and Necalli are top 2, the damage including meterless is just too high for the risk of the buttons they use to put it out, crush counters everywhere best in class that are pretty much impossible to punish due to the large variance in the distances, Necalli is a complete zoning beast that controls so much of the screen with an insanely good standing jab that will beat anything including cross ups for a reset. Ken is the opposite, but he has the ability to make you push buttons into his large damage and force you to attack. After that I think then comes Chun-Li and Karin in a bracket. Then I’d put Nash and Ryu in a bracket after that. The rest of the characters I think are significantly worse than Necalli and Ken and slightly worse than Ryu and Nash. Mika is solid and probably high mid, Laura I think is firmly mid tier with some potential. Cammy I’m not sure yet, I’ve not played enough good Cammy’s. Rashid I’m still convinced is ass.
Thoughts?
I’ve just woken up but I’ll categorize characters in 3 easy to place spots - high, mid and low.
High - Ryu, Ken, Karin, Chun, Necalli, Nash, Vega
Mid - Dhalsim, Birdie, Laura, Cammy, Mika, Guile, Bison
Low - Zangief, Alex, FANG, Rashid
As I imagine Ibuki in my head, she’ll be in the upper tier I think. Alex could be mid, but I fail to see why at the moment. Rashid has potential but I think he just plain sucks.
FANG & Gief are dead in the water, they suck.
I ran into this guy too, darkfightor or sth like that. it seems like all his points get reseted from time to time, now he has 0.
why and how?

I think when you really optimize Alex and you get that KND he can meaty pressure better than alot of the cast.

Alex is a fucking snowball. Damage and mixup is ridiculous when he gets going. I’d say he’s way better than Laura against actual good players. I don’t believe the bottom 3 crap, mid tier at least.
I can’t see Alex as a low tier character. Fang needs more damage on his poison and he’s good. Gief I don’t know…it’s always an uphill battle against him
If his Stomp had a better hitbox and his normals had slightly adjusted frame data he’d be the best grappler over Mika.
His ability to play footsies is great, but the buttons are just awfully slow and easy to counter poke.
I don’t think Bison is true mid. He’s upper low tier, and if I want to be generous/optimistic he’s lower mid tier.
Even though he has one of the best if not the best CA in the game, and a great VT, the character needs v-reversals and ex specials to win. The more I play him the more I realize his VT is situational and you are better off with the option of v-reversals on hand.
