I hate how all of my go to AAs for Roo in SF4 (s.hp, c.hp, s.lk) either flat out don’t work or barely work as AAs anymore. I should probably just DP more but I like smacking people with buttons more. Also don’t like how almost every goddamn crouching normal low profiles my j.mk crossup. Like you shouldn’t be able to get away with whiffing a fucking sweep while I’m above your head because it takes you under my crossup, that’s bullshit.
Nothing game breaking mind but just stuff that annoys me.
This x1000. I don’t understand how people think that Steam is more indicative than Twitch streams in terms of how a fighting game does in the mainstream. Just because we may not all care for stream-viewing, doesn’t make streams any less relevant to the mainstream.
Yall in this thread are not the mainstream, the “mainstream” gaming population isn’t made up of people complaining on SRK haha.
Hit the j.mk a bit later. It hits crouching normals just fine, you’re hitting the button too early which makes the active frames run out by the time he reaches their height.
To be fair, the mainstream is shitting on this game hard with or without Twitch/Steam numbers to back that up. If anything folks like us are more positive than the average gamer because we can see the decent game beneath all of Capcom’s fuckups in all other aspects.
Yeah, Ryu’s j.mk only has 4 active frames in this game, compared to the 6 it had in SF4 (same start-up though).
When in doubt you could also try his j.lk, works just as well as a cross-up and I think has an even better hitbox for it. It also has faster start-up with more active frames; 4 start-up/6 active for j.lk, 6 start-up/4 active for j.mk.
The custom colors in SfxT and general customization was pretty baller though. All they needed to do was have it so you decide what you see online or limit the colors allowed.
I’m SO glad Capcom is no longer displaying products geared towards adults.
That being said I can’t wait until this arrives so I can give it to my 9 year old cousin.
