The only reason I’m picking up Ibuki when she comes out is because I’m going to do that for every new character. Who knows, I might find my SFV version of Abel someday…
Yep like I said he bullies intermediate players. But he’s good beyond playing dumb too since he’s not forced into one playstyle as his v skill allows him to trade with you if you’re just insistent on keeping him out, leading to v trigger necalli which no one wants. He’s just good all around I’m surprised people don’t talk about how good he is more. He’s WAYYY better than Mika.
Due to my alliance with Akuma. I will never ever touch Necalli. Yes I’m that type of player. Laura and Mika are really dope and I try to play honest SF with them as much as I can.
@NupoChromine I adapted that playstyle at the end of SF4. I told myself I need to use every character, specially the characters I keep losing to. In SFV…IMO the only reason to learn the cast is to have fun first and foremost and it helps you understand the mind state of the players using said character.
I’m starting to think Capcom legitimately believes gamers are idiots. It’s not like Ibuki is unplayable, they’re going around showing off the character on WSO and Pro Talk. The “may result in additional delays” line REALLY pisses me off because now they’re getting okay with delaying shit. Street Fighter 5 may very well be the last Street Fighter game Capcom makes if they keep up at this pace.
That cinematic update better be HUGE. Like, MvC3 -> UMvC3 amounts of new content. Anything less would be a damn joke for all the effort put in.
I always groan when I see tournament Mikas jump 12x a round and people just let them do it, meanwhile even crappy silver players online will jump back air to air that stuff. It’s clearly a rule in tournaments lately that you can’t do jump back air to airs, must be in the rulebooks last couple months.
Hell that’s been my go to AA since day one with Laura, jump back mk. Works like a charm.
