Because capcom games are the base of the fgc and capcom games are used as a benchmark for other games balance-wise.
When it comes to sf5, I really think no characters needed nerfs because this game was way too barebones in the first place for that to be taking place. I’d buy another sf4 over any future editions of sf5 fyi. or another sf3 over sf5 fyi.
This game isn’t terribad, but it’s just another sf game.
Yeah, SF4 ain’t old enough to have legendary status, people like Smug in 10 years will be talking about how SF4 was the shit, and how it revived fighting games. THAT’S WHEN YOU TRY TO REVIVE IT, not now.
So far when it comes to this game, if not farming FM from exp related tasks I will be sticking to Rog, Sim, Ryu & Zeku.
And everybody else will just be used in survival grinding and challenges for bigass FM bonuses.
Since this game rewards ya 800k from getting most of the roster to around 20 ish, continuing the game from that point should net you around 1.5million fm in total, or 2 million fm later on cuz of dailies.
Actually being here 16 years is precisely why I’m asking.
Seems like not too long ago if a character was a problem first thing everyone would do is put there heads together and try to come up with anti-tech for that character.
Now before replays are even uploaded people got their pitchforks at the gates of Capcom Hq calling for nerfs.
That’s because possibilities. Before if a character was broken you know you have to deal with it, now you know Capcom could revert those things who make that character too strong. Abigail isn’t broken, but needs adjustments. Better hurtboxes and damage reduction on VT could be enough.
Okay, I officially don’t have a main again, I played Mika today, and had too much fun, there’s just too many characters I enjoy to have a main, I will forever be a random hero. (player who just hits random select)
