Vega is really bad now.

I actually have to outplay my opponent in order to win.

Not much technicality in what she does, sure she’s more execution heavy but everything is pretty clear cut. You haven’t got to do character specific strings and her neutral never really changes because it’s so dominating. If I had to peg her for being technical it would only be because her anti-airs are very awkward, but outside of that she isn’t a brain strainer

mind summarizing the main differences between S1 and S2 Vega? all I know is claw was buffed and clawless was nerfed. not sure if claw is actually preferable now.

Played Necalli today on my quest to learn all the characters, today was a good day.

He’s gotten better against Gief at least, your new claw normals make it basically impossible to get in. Everyone else? Bodied.

I just can’t get into Bloodborne, Dark Souls, and Demon Souls games. Maybe they’re fun to play (never played them, but seen enough gameplay to have a clue what it’s about) but soooooo boring to watch. When Max streams them I rage, those are games are so slow, and the dark atmoshpere is bleh.

I find all single player games boring to watch TBH.

Outside of Akuma I mostly run into Balrog and Laura now at platinum+. Their usage has skyrocketed.

The CC is clawless cr.hp, not standing but yeah. Also all versions of roll dealing more stun and +2 ob claw st.mp are buffs worth mentioning.

I fight so many fucking Akuma’s in both casual and ranked it’s fucking ridiculous.

The same thing happens every time:
-> ANOTHER FIGHT IS COMING YOUR WAY
-> Vs. Screen shows Vega vs. Akuma
->Temple of Ascension loads
->“Round 1, FIGHT!”
-> Akuma player gets a bar
-> MESSATSU GOU SHORYU!!!
->Blocked
-> Crush Counter
-> Round ends in 10 seconds
->“Round 2, FIGHT!”
->Rinse wash and repeat
->GG! No RE!

I literally play for 20 seconds and wait 20 minutes for another match…just to fight Akuma again.

As much of a scrublord I am at this game, and bandwagoning akuma too, I don’t do that shit. I keep playing against other akumas who have a game plan that consists of jump forward fireball, throw attempt or EX goushoryu on wakeup…EVERY single time smh.
