How Capcom are gonna nerf the absolute hell out of him when he gets showcased at a high level. For you Balrog, Chun and Laura players, Akuma has meaties off nearly EVERYTHING. So keep mashing LP on wake up. As for Akuma mains, enjoy it whilst it lasts.

If that poll and patch changes taught me anything is that bitching and complaining is EXACTLY what I should be doing.
Clearly that is more effective than what I did in S1. Complimenting Capcom on an interesting gameplay design that was strong but not broken in any way.
They listen more to whining than positive feedback so fuck it then.
Urien plays annoying with his gimmicks and resets, but i dunno how good he actually is.
If you can react to the gimmicks and know the resets, that dont look like 50/50 btw, whats left?
He got some ok pokes, but they seem medium risk low reward.

Urien just seems like a better overall Akuma.
Akuma really needs meter or v meter or both to access his true scummy shit. Before then he struggles because his buttons are dogshit from range and his walk speed isnt that hpt either.
I feel like he isn’t dominating now online and he’ll only get worse as people get more used to how to fight him.
Urien on the other hand has so much shit at his disposal that many of his players dont use half his tools. And thats before V trigger enters the equation.
He has a longer dash than Nash with LESS frames recovery, long range fast pokes, +2 low cancel button with decent range, nice tick throws and he can charge normals and specials for frame advantage once he conditions you.
