Just make them lose points and let us gain points. With how ranked matchmaking works, you can’t abuse it anyways unless you play at like 4 in the morning and partner up with another abuser.
They could just fix the potential to abuse matchmaking, by not making you face the same guy 3 times in a row in a time frame of 30 minutes.
I thought for about 15 seconds about that shit and came up with the perfect solution Capcom didn’t think of in over a year.
Just play Akuma. You’d be surprised how much fun it is to have 3 crush counter buttons that you don’t have to use point blank, 2 of them not whiffing on crouch and don’t get punished that easily if used well spaced.
There’s nothing retarded about harsh punishments for rage quitting. If they could, I would support Capcom employees going balls deep your significant other’s sphincter while looking you dead in the eyes and whispering “this is what happens when you’re a piece of shit online” every time you ragequit.
You’re fucking retarded if you think a ragequit in a fighting game where a match takes an average of a minute or two, has the same negative impact as someone who quits in Dota, WoW or any other teambased game ruining the next 40 minutes or more for a whole bunch of players.
