Haven’t seen any online since S2 started. Just Urien and Akuma.
On Vega since it was brought up I won’t lie that in some aspects he is better, but I only played with claw on if the match demanded it or I was in a next hit kills situation. Cr.mp frametraps and some of his sillier ch combos are among the stuff I had the most fun with the character and losing em is just a super bummer.
If you liked Vega claw on primarily then yeah he’s world’s better for sure.
Because online players are tier whores.

Does anyone know if mika cmd AA trumps akuma’s air fireballs? since it has that range that goes into cmd animation
i have a feeling it doesn’t, but I’d like to know too. I know Lauras hp elbow loses to it… but vskill dash under = full combo.

Well since Du is sticking with Mika from what I’ve heard, she should still be very good yeah. So Plaid_Unicorn could be right, that she still might be top 10.

Urien is a good meat shield character for online players like Birdie was for season 1. Don’t know how to block, don’t know how to account for changes in the neutral? Just play beefy character with long buttons and hope that covers your issues.
I’m sure online Akuma players will start getting rekt pretty fast once people start figuring out the shenanigans. They’ll still play him cuz Akuma, but yeah.
Vega players just downplaying in order to receive more buffs before the season starts.
Good to see all the fraud Mikas leaving her online. All they did was press c.HP and mash clap any way (oh and they jump LK or jump splash). They didn’t actually play the character. The people who actually played Mika will still throw you into the corner and kill you. Nadeshiko is still a ridiculous V Trigger that forces most everything to stop. Once tournaments start again you’ll see Mika tossing people around like usual once they have the new setups down.
I can lose the st mp CH combos just make cr.mp 5 frames again 
I hardly got a mirror match in Season 1. In Season 2, after playing several sessions I’ve pretty much been running into mostly Rashids, Lauras, Balrogs, Uriens and surprisingly more Zangiefs than usual.
I haven’t even gotten that many Akumas yet and people are claiming there are a bunch of those. Expected to see more Dhalsims too, but haven’t run into a single one yet.
-This is pretty much in ranked mode btw. Haven’t really gone to BL since the game first came out. Also the matchmaking has been matching me up more often with players below Platinum or above Super Diamond than the standard +/- 2 ranks from where I am like it was in Season 1 (Ultra Platinum atm).
Honestly, wrecking people with Mika now is a joy.
These fuckers won’t dare run their mouth about how the character is brain-dead again. I LOVE IT.

I only faced Chuns when i made it to platinum back in July or August or something. Even then, it was rare seeing a Chun. I remember platinum being the land of the shotos, Necalli with some Cammys here and there.

True. I’m giving them too much credit to be using normals. Probably have to get to late platinums before you see them using normals.
What’s crazy is the fact that I’ve played exactly one necalli since the start of season 2. Did his changes effect him that much?

If cr.MP, st.MP and cr.MK were left alone and you gave Vega all the other changes he would have been just fine IMO. Although I miss the five active frames on izuna drop.
Nah, he just plays a bit differently and has some different tools. He wasn’t exactly picked a whole lot outside of tournaments in Season 1 and Season 2 well…people are just going to pick the true Satsui for a while now.
He’s still very good and didn’t really get much worse and even better in some ways from what I’m seeing.
