Don’t even try to DP it unless you’re already buffering the motion, it’s too fast. He actually does grab you before he gets to you, it’s got a hitbox like Hugo’s meatsquasher where it just grabs you as soon as he’s near you. You’d think it only starts when he lands, but it’s actually active in the air. That’s why it looks like you should be able to react in time but it’s way harder.
By the time he actually lands, the move isn’t even active.
Studying how to fight Vega using the Vframes app and I’m seeing they only have one set of frame data for his moves. Is his frame data the same regardless of which stance he’s in?
I found it strange how little Master used her bolt. He rarely used it in neutral and I’m sure it’ll be a big part of it later on. It’s a stationary projectile so its much harder to absorb or punish than other standard moving fireballs.
Well at least this proves that for anyone who said this game was slow or defensive, you’re DEAD wrong.
Bolt charge is the elbow, the projectile is thunderclap. (Yes, this is a source of confusion in the Laura forums as well)
Honestly her projectile isn’t too good against Bison since it’s slow and he has a lot of tools to get around it. The EX version is +3 on guard though which is why you saw him use that occasionally.
i still think laura is garbage, she gets away with so much
plus if you watch carefully, phenom kept knocking laura down with a throw or whatever and then dashing forward. bison is negative in this situation and he kept trying to hit buttons, crimson just woke up with her own normals and converted into a full combo.
