The Street Fighter V Lounge - Balrog Mains on Suicide Watch

Whatever it is, it’s ridiculous that they are having people do this instead of having worked this out already. It is such an easy problem to solve.

Just another thing added to the WTF list that is already a mile long with SF5.

I always said this game would expose frauds

Once battle lounge is fixed up, I doubt I’ll play ranked anyway. It’s too slow.

Nah.
It’s just a matter of getting used to something which at face value seems like what you already know.

This is kind of the problem with have the same characters over and over with all different specifics.
It feels familiar and we have assumptions but then those end up being wrong and then we feel stupid.

It’s better to just go with it, or not. Don’t fight with it.

Having lots of experience in many games can be harmful. The noobs are lucky. They have no assumptions about things like Ryu’s hadouken. It’s as ‘right’ as can be for them lol.

Lol… Something seems to have clicked and I can see the jumps now. Maybe it’s my internet. But the wins are coming easy now that I can AA like in other games… Probably cause the shit ain’t jitter ing all over the place like usual. Only 200 more LP till I get to silver and get to play some actual footsies hopefully.

Put LoL Tribubal system in SFV. I wanna report every person I play against.

So is the game stable at all for anyone in ranked yet? I was getting frequent matches for a couple of days and now it’s back to like 6 minutes between matches, lots of rollback, matchmaking all over the place. Started this morning by losing like 400 pp to impossible to react to-ressenhas and a two ken players that enjoyed teleport fierce dp’ing. Did my usual test with my other online titles…perfect connection

Oh and let me add, frequent 4002 disconnection errors from half the matches I join.

Nah, Nash’s fireballs have more recovery/start-up than they initially appear, and his anti-airs are some of the weaker in the game.

Also keep in mind that Ryu’s light fireball recovers 2 frames before his medium fireball, and 3 frames before his heavy. I don’t know how many people know this and think its like SF4 where they’re all the same.

After I read the data, I only use the LP or EX most of the time.

Hameko is amazing. He also beat Nuki (Chun) on Daigo’s stream last week.

It seems like Mika has enough tools to get around the superior footsies of her opponents.

I’ve found a lot of people jump onto the lp fireball if you throw some heavier ones first, it’s kinda funny!

Let’s ask Drew Carey what he thinks of ranked mode in SFV

You guys watching Winter Brawl?

I’m in the chat watching people spam Sanic

Question about ragers. Can a person get beat, but quit on the points screen? IE - Not sent to server because they bailed at the right time for it to look legit?

You know what I hate?

When you hit someone and go to confirm into a combo, but they were holding up so they get air reset and you get punished. Happens a lot when you try to do a meaty on wakeup.

Well , second night pulling to a close - not bad.

Completely disagree with “footsies” edition, there’s just as much characters that don’t engage in the mid range as 4, in fact whole patches of games involve nothing more than hoping you get a KD to get a meaty. It’s not bad. I’ll play for 6 months and see how it unfolds.

Then it wasnt a meaty

Ya fuck

But it should’ve been. Fucks up a lot.
