Nah.
It’s just a matter of getting used to something which at face value seems like what you already know.
This is kind of the problem with have the same characters over and over with all different specifics.
It feels familiar and we have assumptions but then those end up being wrong and then we feel stupid.
It’s better to just go with it, or not. Don’t fight with it.
Having lots of experience in many games can be harmful. The noobs are lucky. They have no assumptions about things like Ryu’s hadouken. It’s as ‘right’ as can be for them lol.
Lol… Something seems to have clicked and I can see the jumps now. Maybe it’s my internet. But the wins are coming easy now that I can AA like in other games… Probably cause the shit ain’t jitter ing all over the place like usual. Only 200 more LP till I get to silver and get to play some actual footsies hopefully.
So is the game stable at all for anyone in ranked yet? I was getting frequent matches for a couple of days and now it’s back to like 6 minutes between matches, lots of rollback, matchmaking all over the place. Started this morning by losing like 400 pp to impossible to react to-ressenhas and a two ken players that enjoyed teleport fierce dp’ing. Did my usual test with my other online titles…perfect connection
Oh and let me add, frequent 4002 disconnection errors from half the matches I join.
Nah, Nash’s fireballs have more recovery/start-up than they initially appear, and his anti-airs are some of the weaker in the game.
Also keep in mind that Ryu’s light fireball recovers 2 frames before his medium fireball, and 3 frames before his heavy. I don’t know how many people know this and think its like SF4 where they’re all the same.
Question about ragers. Can a person get beat, but quit on the points screen? IE - Not sent to server because they bailed at the right time for it to look legit?
When you hit someone and go to confirm into a combo, but they were holding up so they get air reset and you get punished. Happens a lot when you try to do a meaty on wakeup.
Completely disagree with “footsies” edition, there’s just as much characters that don’t engage in the mid range as 4, in fact whole patches of games involve nothing more than hoping you get a KD to get a meaty. It’s not bad. I’ll play for 6 months and see how it unfolds.
