Learn to press the advantage after anti-airing your opponent; a lot of characters have scary mix ups after the air reset. You’ll learn to love it when people jump.
If “fraudulent stuff” works on you, then it’s clearly not fraudulent against you. Remove the word “fraudulent” from your vocabulary, it will only hold you back as a player. There’s only “what works” and “what doesn’t work.”
I had a match against a Bison last night where I walked full screen towards him while he was down backing and then I just the threw him lmao, he probably thought. …wait wut is happening? Lol
I would like to quit while I’m ahead and formerly announce my retirement from SF5 while I’m still (fraudulently) ranked higher than Tokido. It’s been a good week and a half run guys. See you all in 2022-23 when SF6 drops.
Without a doubt, Dhalsim is up there in top 5 imo. I was watching the Valle(Rashid) vs. Fchamp stream the other day and dayum! Dhalsim is straight fiyah!
That’s a good point actually I need to remember that.
I don’t have a problem with frame trapping anyone? I just said that people need to learn to stop pressing buttons. Doesn’t that suggest to you I am frame trapping them?
It works on me now sure, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t stupid and won’t work once I’ve gained experience in certain matches and read the frame data a bit more in depth. That was what I was frustrated about - the lack of knowledge I have in certain match ups right now. I can’t wait to have grinded this game more to the point I know whats going on.
AA is a momentum shift.
You can go for damage if you have a move which does that (only some characters), or you slap them out of the air and while they’re stuck spinning in the air you dash and get to eat up a lot of ground for free. Or throw a projectile so they have to land and immediately block, keeping them out and whittling them down.
Ppl think DAMAGE DAMAGE DAMAGE waaaaaaaay too much and forget about every other advantage which allows for more damage.
Snake Eyez had another wonderful performance with Gief last night. We also see him adapting quickly with the use of his V-Trigger setups and V-Skill usage against Afro Cole’s Sim(although he lost). I’m liking it.
All this game needs is Yun and a red trigger. Basically lasts twice as long, twice as effective and goes down slower. In this case, 30 second Genei Jin.
